I almost posted that verse but "abolish" is commonly misinterpreted in its context. The original Greek term for used "abolish" is more closely translated as "invalidated." Christ did not oppose or contradict the scripture of the Old Law, He fulfilled it. It is no longer necessary to follow the Old Testament to the letter, but it is necessary for Christians to understand it, which is why it's still in the Bible.



The question was valid. If the Old Law is still in practice why don't Christians execute sexuals or follow 99% of Leviticus anymore? They don't even "keep the Sabbath holy."
