I'll let you get back to your Play-Doh.
Because it has lightsabers and X-Wings and stuff blows up. And Kylo Ren knows how to spell potato.
I'll let you get back to your Play-Doh.

BTW, saw that same weak sh** on twitter. Lib s now claiming Star Wars is just a children's movie.
Today's SJW snowflake
you replied, then came back 20 minutes later to edit your post and add another one.
Keep calling everyone else triggered though!
Where did I call someone triggered? In another thread? Keep bringing your baggage.
And yea, I posted 20 minutes later after watching half of a 38 min YT vid on this. I'm sorry practicality doesn't work for you.
Here ya go, bro. I was gonna post it and just forgot.
Which one of you gots is Ryan?

Turning Luke into somebody who wanted to murder his nephew in his sleep, is one example.
A split second lapse in judgement is completely out of character for Luke? Is he ing Jesus now?
First of all, it wasn't a "split second". Luke grabbed his lightsaber, went to Kylo Ren's room while he slept, and turned his weapon on. He had plenty of time to think about what he was doing. That's the equivalent of the, "I was just trying to scare them!" defense that murderers use. In fact, Luke could definitely be charged with conspiracy to commit murder according to our laws.
Second, Luke isn't Jesus, but if he went out of his way to save his extremely evil father from The Dark Side, he would not then contemplate murdering his nephew just because he could potentially turn to The Dark Side. That is bad writing that is a disservice to the character.

yes, this was the biggest misstep that most of the fandom can't understand because it was a complete change of luke's character.
First of all, he didn't go into Kylo Ren's room with the intent to kill him, he looked into Ren's mind and saw things that caused his momentary lapse in judgement. It was clearly explained that Kylo was already in league with Snoke at the time, so Luke had every reason to want to look into his mind, and every reason to react the way he did after seeing into his mind. Everything he worked for in defeating the Empire would be undone if Snoke took control of someone with the power Kylo Ren had, so of course he had a moment where he wasn't thinking clearly. If you find out that your girlfriend cheated on you, would you momentarily consider slapping the out of her before realizing that would be wrong? Does that mean your entire character is besmirched for having a momentary lapse in judgement?
Again, Luke went out of his way to save Darth Vader, one of the evilest, most powerful people in the universe, but The Last Jedi wants us to believe that Luke would murder his nephew in his sleep because he could become evil? That is bad writing, Mono. Period. It goes directly against who Luke Skywalker is as a person, ting on the Original Trilogy.
Luke was also well on his way to killing Darth Vader, to the point of slicing his ing hand off, and then realized what he was doing and stopped himself. But no, one lapse in judgement later in the life is completely out of character for Luke Skywalker Christ.
Just my 2 cents but one reason Luke could have had this change of heart is because he saw what happened with Vader so it shaped him.
When it was Vader, that was the first of his kind for Luke and he was naive enough to think he could save him. But when he had been through that and seen the evil that was possible and that it likely meant there was no chance, that shaped his decision as difficult as that would be when he saw the power of Kylo and the dark side in him.
But, it was momentary even if you don’t want to call it that. He stopped himself because he just could not bring himself to give up on Kylo.
Luke wasn't involved in a life or death fight with a sleeping Ben Solo.
This movie shat all over the character of Luke Skywalker in the name of "subverting expectations". Boy, I sure am glad we got a murderous Luke who dies for no reason after doing nothing throughout the entire film! That was much better than having Luke be Rey's mentor.
Yeah, Palpatine was egging Luke on to kill Vader and for a few seconds Luke wanted to do it. And then came back to his senses. Luke had moments in Return of the Jedi where he came close to turning to the dark side. So no it's not completely out of character for him.
BTW when Vader mentions Leia near the end of the video, Luke is fight on pure rage when he chops his hand off.
aaaand there we are. Figured you were slightly more cerebral than the others but I guess not.
"It was so out of character for Luke!!!"
"Well no, here's a perfect example in the original trilogy for why it's not"
".........whatever, the movie is just in stupid, okay! it just is!"
It's out of character because Luke already overcame that obstacle over 30 years ago. He learned that lesson already.
The Last Jedi is just full of poor decision-making from beginning to end. Sure, it is better acted and better directed than most Star Wars movies, but nothing happens in this movie.
Canto Bight - pointless, cheesy, and actively harmful to the heroes.
Rey on Ach-too - pointless. Gets one five minute lesson from Luke that she probably didn't need. She is such a huge Mary Sue that she doesn't need training at all, making the ending of The Force Awakens and most of her time with Luke pointless.
Kylo Ren - could have been interesting, but Rian Johnson exposed how much of a pussy he was. Ren talks about killing the past for 2 hours, and then he doesn't kill the past. If he actually went his own way with Rey, that would have been a subversion of expectations. But he didn't and all we have left is Snoke 2.0.
Poe - pointless outside of the beginning (which was probably pointless, too). Most of the conflict in his storyline was because Admiral Purple Hair inexplicably kept secrets from him. He also stages a mutiny and suffers no repercussions, which cheapens the stakes considerably.
Rose - pointless, detrimental, and contradictory to the message the movie is trying to convey. "We can't win this war by sacrificing ourselves, even though Admiral Purple Hair and Luke sacrificed themselves!" Re ed character all around.
Finn - pointless. The one moment he could have had was ruined by ol' chubby cheeks, which would have doomed everybody had Luke not pulled a deus ex machina.
Luke - pointless and insulting. His entire screentime was wasted on cringeworthy bull . Milking alien s for blue milk? Who thought that was a good idea?! Refusing to help Rey save his friends and family? Contradicts his personality entirely. Luke only existed to serve as a distraction and die alone, surrounded by alien pennguins.
I'd forgive the movie if the plotlines were well executed, but it just made me wonder why there is such a huge disconnect in storytelling in this new trilogy.

you called people " got" as a retort, yet you complain about me not being "more cerebral"?
Luke traveling to the new Death Star to save his father, facing Vader and Palpatine, and being briefly tempted into killing Vader, who was attacking him and threatening his family, is far different from Luke going into his nephew's room at night and with intentions to murder him, however brief. That invalidates Luke's character growth for the sake of drama. The lessons he learned in the previous movies were lost.

going berserk and slashing a guy's hand off = briefly tempted to kill
flashing a lightsaber on and off = fully intent to kill
Rey being used by the force to combat Snoke/Ren despite never using a lightsaber =huge Mary Sue
Luke being used by the force to take down a Death Star despite never flying in an X-Wing = no problem
equating a fight to the death with Vader to standing over Ben Solo's bed
Luke refuses to kill his evil father but conspires to murder his potentially evil nephew in his sleep
wow much cerebral
so intellectual
