I see people have already forgotten how awful Laker "fans" can be when their team wins another le. Again: Kobe did a number on that franchise.
So after a huge win last night, the good folks from the City of Brotherly Love took to the streets to celebrate with much deserved burning, looting, and destruction of the city and their property..

This isn't too out of the ordinary for them.. I mean this is a fan base that beat up an old man working as a mascot for a rival team.. they've thrown batteries at players and personnel, snowballs at ing Santa Claus (lol), a beer bottle at Ryan Howard, booed the out of Donovan Mcnabb seconds after drafting him.. Let's not forget this gem:
Cheering Michael Irvin as he lie unable to get up with an obviously serious neck injury, and booing when he was carted off.. all of this, and there are several other instances I could mention.
So, are Philly natives/fans the biggest pieces of in all of sports, or is there a worse group out there?
I see people have already forgotten how awful Laker "fans" can be when their team wins another le. Again: Kobe did a number on that franchise.
I remember the riots and stupidity there when they last one.. but I was looking at a bigger picture which is why I included examples outside of just the rioting.
Tbh, of the 5 Championship celebrations I went to here in SA, we were more interested in sharing beer with complete strangers, and working together to get ties out. I believe of all 5 celebrations, the worst act committed (that made news at least) was the flipping of a cop car in 05' or 07'.. but that's a cop car, nobody gives a so it doesn't count.
yes they are. i saw a vid of a eagles fan eating horse , really. i understand you excited, maybe even looting and burning a few cars but willingly eating horse is a new level of fuccery for me.
Yeah, you can be a sore winner too. This is 65 years of pent up frustration, but it is unacceptable imo
I can't wait for the Always Sunny episode about the Superbowl tbh![]()
i saw that..
Many videos of these heads last night climbing like 25 foot balconies etc, and doing blind leaps of faith into the crowd.. And being the assholes they are I'm assuming not all if any were caught safely
@ anyone re ed enough to park their vehicle in downtown Philly last night
Philly is like Compton; rich rappers brag about being from there, but they live in Malibu.
With the Lakers it’s largely uneducated dirt poor be@ners who act an ass after a championship.
The thing about Philly fans that I actually think is funny is that they all like animals regardless of socioeconomic status![]()
never been to Philadelphia, but it just seems that EVERYBODY is passionate about their teams for some reason, which leads to the chimping out. If all cities shared that passion, cities like New Orleans, Houston, and Detroit would make Philly fans' behavior look like child's play IMO
i can't help but notice these fans aren't being called thugs nor much bad press for tearing up their city over a sport. matter of fact reporters and the news are finding humor in it all. its slightly demonic.
Worst in the US? Likely.
Worst in the World? That tile belongs to fans of double handjob ball. Red Star Belgrade has gotta be up there.

Yes, I was referring to US sports cities, but sure why not.. The world is fair game, they gotta be up there
Couldn't agree more.. They are demonic and thugs
this is true af, which is why I'd say they would be my choice for best WWE crowd in the US.. They regularly "hijack" the show making the lives of the creative team a nightmare that evening.. Philadelphia crowd the night after Wrestlemania? "You's" already know they're gonna all over that show. I just picture these bags with all velour jumpsuits, sunglasses indoors, with either smacking gum or a toothpick

- Argentina claims fame to so many instances of rioting, death and murder with not only their national teams, but their local clubs as well. I am forced to put all of the examples under one, all-encompassing, slide.
Argentina is also famous for some of the worst rioting in the history of the world such as in a 1964 Olympic qualifier when 300 fans were trampled and killed, as well as this match in 2007. And this example in 2008.
In Columbia, Andres Escobar was killed because he scored on his own team in the 1994 World Cup.
Brazil has had its own troubles handling soccer fans. 2005, 2009, 2010 are just a few examples of the violence that occurs there.

whatever happen to its always sunny in phili...yet goes eat horse ?
red state problems tbh
I was about to mention this, was surprised OP didn't in the main post.
To answer the OP though, yes. Philly fans are the ing worst.
Honestly hope they get arrested, fined and have to do a little time (30 days per person or so) and the store's insurance pays their losses claim ASAP... no excuse for vandalism, tbh.
And the stores should receive the social security numbers of these vandals so they can sue them on top of this. Vandalism is evil
nobody understands black urban life like you
Yeah when sports riots happen we get think-piece articles about human behavior in groups and whatnot.
No one understands Armenian refugee life like you.
