I disagree - I think money definitely plays a role, but preception is the bigger deal. Manu compared to Pau, if asked by 100 people regardless of money, who was much better in the season/playoffs statistically 100 would say ManuBringing the Manu/Pau comparisson when one makes 7 times more money per year than the other.
If Pau's salaray wasn't such a handicap on the team's offseason aspirations nobody would give a about Pau. He's fine as the backup center. Just not at that price.
