    You never answered this tho:

    Why did they lie about and conceal Russian contacts after the briefing? Wouldn't have just been better to tell the public "Yeah they tried but we shut them down! USA! USA!"?

    Instead a year later it was found out and they say, "Yeah, we tried to collude with Russian agents but they didn't have good enough dirt on Clinton."
