I agree I'd rather be up three and force a miracle catch and shoot three vs a tip in, but the rules wouldn't allow any less than 0.3 seconds to be ticked off the clock on that hypothetical rebound.
And what are the odds of catching and shooting, hitting the shot, and beating the instant replay on the three? This wouldn't be the Derek Fisher shot where the refs just have to call it on the floor.

You probably tuned out after Klay missed his shot...there was a foul on Paul. He made only the second of two. State called a time out and because Klay held Harden, Curry got a clean look.
If GS had to rebound the free throw, they'd be lucky to have .2 left assuming they got a clean rebound.
I have a bet on the Rockets to make it to game 7. If they do, I win. I wouldn't bet game 7 though
I'm talking about the Klay missed shot. The game didn't end there because suppossedly there was a foul on Paul, but I didn't see it.
I doubt it, a clean rebound and the refs are taking the 0.3 seconds off the clock that the league requires since you can't go to instant replay to hear/see when the timeout is called. You can call timeout in the air as long as all of your body is above area that is inbounds.
The Warriors don't deserve this le. 04 Lakers redux
Except this time there's no 04 Pistons.
For Game 6, yea.
If Rockets can win game 5 vs the Warriorettes, this series will become interesting. Good win by the Rockets tonight though.
It looks to me like the Warriors quit in the middle of the 4th quarter in this game. Durant was chucking everything he could even under double and triple coverage. I almost feel like this was thrown for Vegas purposes.
Both teams were out of control in the final minutes. Gerald Green shot selection made Durant look good.
Good win son![]()
I believe Tony was heading out of town and dropped his hamburger and it rolled back there.
^ maaaaaaaaaad AF CP0 won more WCFs games than the Clipps EVER have![]()
No doubt. if you take away Steph's and 1 layup, and the two threes CP3 created for Gordon and Ariza that was one of the most atrocious displays of execution, I have seen down the stretch of an important playoff game. Even when the Nets played Spurs in the finals... shots were missed, but at least those teams ran some good stuff they just lacked elite shooting/scoring which both of these teams have. Plus those teams were playing great defense. Rox was applying great pressure, but that was more about state not countering the pressure and on other end Rox was getting the switch on steph and Harden still forced up soem fade away 3's.
IF State loses this series, this game was the one that decided it. Rox weren't playing well late and they STILL beat state at Oracle. KD, steph and Kerr all played a hand in their own demise. Kerr should have came back with Livingston (with no Iggy) when Rox went small. KD cant defer on a game tying/winning possesion with the ball in his hand floor spread and his defender backpedalling, curry after that hot third took a couple of atrocious hero shots, got blocked twice on open layups and twice from side/behind on jumpers. CAN NOT happen whith your two best players who are former MVP's.
And media/sportstalk should call them out for it today too ...
