No "we" from Jablabla regarding the "group" ^^
Only in the part, where he is impersonating Magic, who should offer just everything LA has! Which still is a bunch of , tbh...
Most interesting part: no1 option for the Spurs is trying to use the "next 48-72 hrs" to fix the situation.
So it really sounds like a leverage move. Get Pop and the group into a room a.s.o.
So most likely he will have to be dealt before Thursday right?
Trading him to the Kings for the #2 and Fox, would be great for lots of reason even the comedy potential of Uncle Dennis interacting with Vlade and Kings owner.
I know yesterday was tough and that's prolly why you disappeared the whole day but do try to keep up chief.
I ain't got the timo to explain every post. But I'll do you a solid here. In this instance, we were discussing the idiots that both Simmons and KL have had repping them going into their contracts, and how they both royally ed over their clients by going nuclear from the get go.
At first, I thought Kawhi truly wanted a trade. Now, I think this is a leverage play. The reporting this morning seems to reflect that. 1) Spurs reportedly haven’t been notified of a trade request; 2) Pop still would reportedly want a meeting; 3) the sequence of reporting.
I just don’t how you fix this mess.
a healthy KL is maybe a supermaxable,
but KL's leg problem is chronic, it will be back, and he very probably will continue to miss significant chunks of seasons, using his chronic history as predictor of the future.
just another great player brought down tragically by injury or physical problems.
You'd have to call the cops if Sac allowed that to happen.
I actually agree. Both Jabari and Woj now reporting that "it can still be fixed". Such an amateurish power move though. Couldve easily gone about it differently. Unc and broke agent are way in over their heads.
Either way. Even if he goes to another team he will face public scrutiny. If he stays with Spurs, both do press conferences and statements stating they both made mistakes and by gone should be by gone quicker than Kawhi just outright leaving. That's only one point of view but who knows if it's truly irreparable.
white supremacists never miss an opportunity..
Yes, yes, and yes.
I send him to SacTown (that #2, tho), Milwaukee, or Boston. In that order.
All three give you a good potential of player(s) and draft pick(s) with the added benefit that two of those three places are NBA . Sending a little message to Uncle Robertson about forcing their hand on signing a max in Milwaukee, on the way out the door certainly wouldn't hurt the message of, DON'T THE SPURS, amateur.
I especially liked the line, "Moron cant even speak correct..."
That sentence is so richly ironic, and in my experience, fully representative of the idiots I encounter on Twitter everyday.
ESPN reporting Brown, Rozier, Marcus Morris plus a draft pick is still available. That would be awesome. We still have leeway to go after free agents this summer while rebuilding and staying compe ive. Sending him West doesn't make sense. Sending him East gives it a better chance he stays East which is what the Spurs really want. Not drama 4x a year and early in playoffs.
I would hope it would go down like that. The situation sucks. I almost wish Pop would send him to whatever place KL least wants to go. Even if Spurs only get a bag of Takis in return. Just to send a message. Albeit an costly one.
Would be horrible. Those players are going nowhere.
I'm doubting people will give up everything for a 1-year rental.
We'll be taking scraps.
Pop is a responsible person, he won't do something damaging for the franchise out of spite. They'll trade him to the team giving the best offer but the trade package will probably be mediocre.
But Boston has above scraps galore right now plus Philly. We still have cap room this year too. Lol to anyone thinking Jaylen Brown and Rozier are just scraps at their age. You have to trust your player development with guys like that. It really sucks to think what a Kawhi committed Spurs could have been but Spurs imo are still in great position either way.
That offer is . I'd tell Ainge that Leonard is going to Philly if I can't get Tatum.
Rozier and Brown are great young talents. That Sac pick could be high. Maybe they could squeeze the Memphis or LA pick from them too. Morris could be flipped for another pick. It’s not equal value for an All NBA player but you’re not getting equal value for Kawhi given the context. Not saying this is the deal, but this type of deal is likely the best they can do.
Definitely understandable to want Tatum but you will be proven wrong on Rozier and Brown. Can't get 1 to 1 value so Brown and Rozier are amazing for a 1 year lease (if that is the case).
Where are your picks? I'll hang up and listen.
