jaren jackson jr.at #4 to no listed team doesn't mean that goes to SA. there's a better chance that his dad comes back to play for the spurs than he does.

Alright, whose got some second round hopes?

Like some in the Think Tank, I'm all aboard the Yuta Watanabe express.

But I also guess that Ray Spalding or Jevon Carter might be useful inactive list players
I would like the Greek Freak's little brother in the 2nd round.

It doesn't mean Spurs, but it's a likely trade considering Memphis desire to shed a contract, and Jackson's antipathy to Memphis

I don't think Lonnie Walker could drop to the Spurs.
Zero chance. Clippers won’t let him get past 12 or 13 if they don’t move those picks.

#4 and Brown is a pretty damn good basis for a trade tbh
Agreed. You do that trade under the cir stance if you’re the spurs. Then use 18 for more wing help.

Dallas and Hawks may swap picks so Dallas could end up with Doncic

and this is what makes all the information coming out about the leonard situation so difficult to decipher. woj tweets today that the spurs are not shopping but will listen to offers, but then shelburne later reports that the spurs have shut the door on the lakers which is supposedly the only team that leonard would resign with. so that entails that the spurs are passively listening but just not to the one team that leonard would re-sign with.

So who do you guys want at 18th? I'm torn.

A guy like Huerter I think would be a really solid player for years to come and a rotation player from the get go, but his ceiling isn't that high.

Guys like Musa and Hutchinson are more of wild cards, but the payoff could be bigger since they can playmake a bit.

    And a guy like Z.Smith wouldn't be more than a 3 and D guy.

I find it absurd that someone would spend a lottery pick on Trae Young..

I like him too, but I find it weird that many mock draft don't even have him as a first round pick. There must be something there that we don't see.

Meanwhile many are saying that if Hurter wouldn't have got hurt he might be a top 10 prospect right now.

Another thing we have to consider is age. I think Musa and Huerter are 19, and Hutchinson 22 or 23.

Mmh what? All scouts I've seen from him say that he has from above average to elite athleticism.

Need to get the Memphis pick at #4 to ensure you get Bamba.

Yeah. If the Mavs can't move up to get Doncic, they will take Bamba at 5.

Barring a trade, is it more likely we'll get a high IQ, unathletic player than a raw, great athlete in this draft?
