Eh, I don't know that Kawhitter will necessarily have to play just because they came out and said he is 100% right now. He could always fabricate another injury and all it would probably take is another "second opinion" to avoid getting in any legal trouble. Didn't he miss some games in between the 9 games he did play with like a sore shoulder?

Ideally, he falls in line and Dennis the Menace s off but I'm not holding my breath. I'm also not in favor of forcing Manu into retirement because of this got. If Manu want to play another year and Kawhi states he doesn't want him I say tough mother er. Parker I don't have a problem letting go, but not because of any comment he made about Kawhitter, just simply because he sucks and probably doesn't have a role on this team anymore. These are guys that will always be around the Spurs, I'm not kicking them on the ass on the way out the door for a guy who seemingly doesn't give a about this organization.

    So true.

How do you even plan anything if everything's up in the air.

Way to clear it is simple. "Kawhi, do you want to go to the Sixers?"

So, rumour has it that Kawhi's injury is trully serious and all this shenanigans is just to get the Spurs to offer supermax.

Alternative could be Leonard signing 1+1 supermax (allowable?) that would give Leonard ability to opt out in 2020 when it appears Pop would be moving on.

The Spurs have a good handle on Kawhi’s physical condition. There is no secret horrible diagnosis being kept from them.

Yeah but according to them Kawhi is fine and has been fine for months. The rumour is that he isn't.

Where did you hear this rumor that he isn't?
An Argie journalist that always gives info (he has ties Oberto, Manu and a lot of folks in SA and around the league) just mentioned on the go on TV. Nothing really serious or official, but he did say it, and he's not one of those guys that just says to get attention.

Interesting rumor. I have no idea what it would be based upon, since the Spurs have access to all the records from all the doctors Kawhi has seen.

He has been fine for months. The malingering was part of a ploy to force a trade to LA yesterday so he could be part of a superteam with LeBron James and Paul George. The Spurs sniffed it out and called his bluff. Now we’re on to deciding whether to iron out the relationship or ship him out. On the one hand, he’s a superstar talent, on the other hand he’s willing to sabotage his own team to please his grifter uncle. What to do?

LeBron and Simmons are both ball dominant and redundant, plus Kawhi is another iso player. Is it possible for Philly to include Simmons to Spurs if they are getting LeBron and Kawhi?

Is Phila really going to ship out a 22-year-old generational talent because he’s “redundant” with a guy that has two or three years left in his prime?

He's been shielded from a lot. First San Diego and then SA. Now he wants to go to a high pressure big market full of idiot fans and media? Imagine this 'injury' playing out as it did in LA, Philly, or Boston. Imagine when you don't win a championship the reaction isn't 'well, next time' as it generally is in SA, but rather 24/7 when is this overrated piece of going to get it done? If he's that weak that any negativity turns him into a passive-aggressive hermit how's he going to deal with that constant barrage of insane expectations and full tilt hostility?

They are in "win-now" mode if they can land LBJ.

Haha, serious son. But I don't know how serious is the guy, maybe he is just speculating. I doubt the rumour comes from the Spurs' side, since they seem to believe Kawhi has been healthy all along.

To make a LeBron/Kawhi/Embiid happen? Why not? Kawhi is 26 and will get the best 1-2 players in the league. The best defensive player. I’m just putting it out there, because on playbook Lebron and Simmons are redundant.

Right? I'd be willing to give it a few games before declaring the pairing a failure.

Boston's window isn't shutting any time soon, no matter what happens in Philly.
Boston's window is slammed shut if Philly gets LeBron and Leonard to team with Simmons, Embiid, Covington, Red , Beli, plus whatever ring chasers they can land.

Kind of thought you were mocking that fraud Manu4Tres for a second there, just needed confirmation that you were being serious.

Did the reporter cite sources or is it just his personal opinion?
