At this point like most have said I'd also just wait till trade deadline.
Just uber.

Saric, zhaire, the holmes kid (racuan?)and three first rounders , including the miami one, i could live with. Dont want fultz. Anything less and dont do it.
Holmes could be a serviceable back up big man.
It’s going to take a 3 team trade for the spurs to get decent value.
I usually do if I go out on the weekends, but Santa Monica is too far from where I live, especially with LA traffic.
My rating sucks. I threw up in one car. Tried to get a b.j. in another. My calls for service routinely get ignored.
Lol. No need to give up the farm when your former GM gifts him to you. Come on, man. Laker fan being born on third base won't ever go unnoticed around here. You only prosper because of the weather, ocean, and hills. Because by and large, you rarely grow your own talent.
I used Uber more as a verb to get around. There’s quite a few ride sharing companies nowadays.
LA is too ing massive to use Uber consistently tbh.
Not saying they’re losing sleep over it, but didn’t some Republican/Trump supporter inject cash into Impact? They’re still probably trying to cook up something. Kori Ellis posted some links which prove the same. Leonard’s camp can probably also force him to play 30% of the season to do away with the CBA requirement so he can bolt next offseason. That might play well into the Spurs’ hand by upping his trade value before he gets dealt but at the same time he messes with team chemistry. Can also probably poison the well.
I know Pop and Buford are playing a lot of chess but all I’m saying is that these Impact Sports buffoons aren’t done yet. I’ll expect some useless rumors over the next few weeks until the Spurs trade Leonard to a team that’s NOT the Lakers.
Vancouver is awesome. Flew into vancouver for my honeymoon back in the day and then headed west to jasper, lake louise, banff, etc. Good times.
My one knock on vancouver. Herion. So many junkies everywhere.
500 pages and not even close to a trade![]()
If we wait till trade deadline it will reach 1000+ easy.
500. Sweet. Wanted to stay up to be a part of this historical moment. Now off to bed.
Kawhi spotted on public transit in LA

I’m not optimistic at all. Spurs are gonna have to take a ty return..
Way too easy. The Lakers can keep their group of nobodies and the Spurs can keep Kawhi or can deal him to another team. I don’t see what the problem is now, are you salty the Spurs won’t take the Lakers’ offer? Personally I don’t know how the Lakers struggled to sign anyone substantial the past five years given their financial capability (as you said, cash isn’t a problem) and the Hollywood lifestyle. Says a lot about the organization.
They don't have to take any return. Just hold onto him and make him play out next season if he doesn't help the Spurs out.
Spurs dont have to.
Thats like you saying if you are one of two people in a bar at last call and the other one is a girl who weighs 500 pounds (who knocked down her bedroom wall to go clubbing for her birthday), then you have to take her home. You really dont have to. Perhaps pornhub is the better alternative ( i.e., no trade)
Damn thought you were a lifer DPG?
I agree with the just keep him and ride it out if all the offers are , and the ones I’ve seen all are, but pop will see it as a horrible distraction so i doubt kawhi lasts into the season opener
Bwahahaha.

The spurs cant trade him just for the sake of trading him. Sometimes you have to take a loss or be resigned to just let it go.
Thats like being stood up the night of prom by the prettiest girl in school. You arent going to save face or replace her by making a rash knee jerk reaction and hiring a 50 dollar hooker to be your date. You just sit it out and chalk it up as a loss while walking away with the little bit of dignity you still have.
It makes a ton of sense to just extend him (not for the supermax) and find a trade partner thereafter. The Spurs close on him on a discount and all apprehensions about a one-year rental and being non-committal all vanish, eradicating all leverage other teams might have. It all then comes down to his health, something a few games can solve, given Pachulia’s not out there anymore (hopefully). As it stands other GMs think they can strike now because they can get pennies on the dollar. The front office might not be adept at maintaining modern stars but they aren’t dumb.
This. Spurs cannot possibly think there will be a good outcome, good locker room or good culture with Kawhi publicly divorcing himself from the team.
