Durant has been unanimously hated for his move to the Warriors...and I'd say Kawhi's is even more of a move. At least KD was a free agent when he quit on his team.

They won't boo. The average fan has nothing to think about because they haven't seen Leonard in nearly two years. The spurs will discourage boos to avoid drama.
The only scenario where kAwhi will be booed, is if he regains mvp status. I don't think he will due to the market and his distaste for s om, but if people see him at that level it'll enforce the sense of a raw bargain.
Otherwise average fan doesn't care as long as defrozen scores 20 and patty waives the towel.

He probably won't play because this is even worse than when LeBron left Cavs for Heat. What Kawhi and his camp did was throw a bag a at the Spurs and all it's fans. Anyone thinking he won't get booed? come on. If he does play everytime he touches the ball he will get booed it will last the whole game.
All the people that burn players jersey's well if there was ever a players jersey to burn it's Kawhi's. However I don't recommend it as you could get hurt or start a fire of some kind do so at your own risk.

Durant never quit, he played his contract out and made his choice as a FA. The situations are not even comparable. He's a beta, that ruined the NBA, and that chose the easy way out but that's as far as it goes. If he would've left OKC for any other team other than GS it wouldn't have even been an issue.
Probably and knowing the Spurs luck he'll shut down Derozan and put up 50 pts.
Here is my plan: I am going to buy tickets to every Raptors game home and away and mercilessly boo and yell at Kawhi. Then with 20 games left or so I am going to yell at him: “I will make you a deal. If you go to the Clippers instead of the Lakers I will stop following you and yelling at you”.
