Manu:
2018 -- Needing to talk to Pop
2017 -- Needing to know Pop wanted him back
2016 -- His agent sending out signals that SA was going to have to step up offers to keep Manu
2013 and 2015 -- As far as I know, nothing.
2010 -- Suggested that he was going to look elsewhere in the summer if PATFO didn't offer a max extension
2003 -- Entertained an offer from Denver
Parker:
2011 -- Suggested that he'd have a productive "second career" in New York
2003 -- Was angered by PATFO's pursuit of Jason Kidd
Tim
2003 -- Mildly entertained other offers, but nothing serious
2000 -- SERIOUSLY considered Orlando
Folks are welcome to bring up other examples, but I think I'm being fair to all involved. Certainly, some of the actions they took made perfect sense, and considering they all stayed as long as the team wanted them, it's not like any of them are on the Kawhi continuum. But Manu just has more examples one can point of how him publicly expressing uncertainty about how long his relationship with the Spurs would last. Maybe that comes down just to their personalities and their histories coming into the organization. But especially in terms of his agent's comments, he seems to trust PATFO the least of the three.
