White or bust.
Literally.
If he does well, I am happy.
If he sucks and we miss playoffs and get a good pick to add to Dejounte and Year 2 Demarr, I'm happy.

I would only trade picks for a pg if it was a real difference maker/longer term solution. Kemba, dragic, etc... Barring that is just wait and see who might get waived somewhere..
Isn't Paul George the only real pg in the league or are there others? I know Paul George was promising when he played for us (before we traded him for kawhi) but I think he makes too much now and with the loss of Murray i don't think that's the position most in need (and kind of redundant with derozan) I do agree spurs could use a third star or just the best talent, but I am a realist
Much rather sign a vet in the Miller/Ford/Vaughn role. Beyond just needing a solid hand to fill in at times, they don't have any PG to mentor White and Walker anymore. They have four young guards. They don't need another prospect.
Ty Lawson would be one of my top choices
PatBev. Buy him out.
Just give White, Mills, Forbes more minutes and give Lonnie a role when he gets back. They dont need a vet guard to eat minutes into guys who are better overall.
Tony must've broke out his smug smile when he heard the news but kept it to himself. The official word is he didn't want a diminished role, money being equal, right? Ironic this thread is about giving a vet pg on the market, an outsider no less, exactly that.
isn't he an alcoholic?
frankly, at least now, no one...because:
1)after one year is time to see if 25 year old White is ready to play big minutes;
2)after training camps there will be some cuts and some interesting names could become available;
3)the names currently available aren't players worth more than the options we already have.
You are a confused realist.
...talking about after training camp time, two names to look at could be the ones the clippers are gonna cut...possibly two point guards (two names of the four of Beverley, Teodosic, Wallace and Evans). Of the four, the only one I would't take is the last one (Evans) simply because we already have two not that tall and no defense oriented guards...
this could've been a renaissance year for Tony
Dear god, please no Turtlehead Terry.
That would be awesome. Having a guy on my Spurs who I've always wanted to punch in the face.
Would probably be the most unexpected person to do the Texas Triangle, honestly.
oh please god no KBP, I cant take it!
He's had issues, but he was pretty solid last time I saw him play for Sacramento. He's been getting into shape this off-season. Could be a low risk. Plus him and R.C could share sobriety tips.
Time for me to bust out my old Reebok AI shoes and save the team tbh. Anyone wearing #15? It's my ol high school number
