i was thinking a more athletic version of McNabb, only not an out of shape fatass like McNabb was.
Mixed race Aaron Rodgers is more like it. Stop comparing him only to black mobile QBs just because he's not a pale skinned dude.

Out of all non-white QBs in the league, I'd say Mahomes looks to run the least and it isn't close... he's a lot like Rodgers in that if he sees the deep man coverage and green in front of him he'll take the easy 10 yards and slide, but it's not his bread and butter. He still looks to throw until he's past the LOS, which is a beautiful thing. Sadly, Dak doesn't.

I will always think that McNabb would have been near GOAT level if he wasn’t out of shape to the point where he was dry heaving while his team tried to win a Super Bowl.

McNabb just came off like a guy who wasn't very smart, not completely re ed but the straight C student athlete who did just enough throughout school to pass and get his athletic scholarship. I remember in the early-mid 2000s he was the Campbell's soup poster boy, he was an obnoxious dumbass on those commercials.

His decision making wasn't very good. He came off as a guy playing Madden and spamming the same plays and that offense just went down the toilet after they lost T.O. Overly reliant on TO.

As for coaches, I only give Tomlin a pass I guess because of his ring, but that was a stacked-ass team on both sides of the ball and let's be frank, Tomlin's been extremely lucky to have some generational talent especially on offense and a savvy vet QB who knows how to get them the ball. Tomlin is more of a "stay out of the way and let Ben and the offense do their thang" which is respectable. Tomlin is a team motivator and not much of a coach but you have to respect a guy who doesn't get in the way of the team when he knows it's not his place.

The smartest black QBs ever to me have to be... Moon, Wilson, and possibly this Mahomes though he's mixed.

Warren Moon may be ethnically black, but he was 100% a white QB.

    black coach time management

seriously, you're better off just taking the delay, it's not like you won't be able to convert 1st & 15 against soft tampa 2 zone coverage.

Does Midwest give better rating over Southeast and east?

I think they get too cute trying to get as many teams on SNF as they can throughout the season.

Mahomes will learn not to underthrow a guy like that. Growing pains. But he has the arm strength to get it there. Always better to overthrow that underthrow, because underthrows cause picks.

And Collinsworth slobbers all over Tucker every time the Ravens play on SNF. Couldn't imagine his epic reaction to the ending if he was the color commentator.

Mahomes is soft. He would've been blasted and sitting out for two games back in the day.

    Cinci defense going full Bungles

Glad to see Hill caught that TD, so the drop a few plays ago wouldn't fux with his confidence long term.

Though I will say this, if Mahomes breaks his collabone I think the Brady Bunch gets yet another easy path to the SB... though the Rams are winning it no matter what....

Pretty sure the Rams could go 16-0 if they want to this year, but they'll likely lose 1 or 2 down the stretch after they clinch the #1 seed.

McMahon was injured a lot; but he was much tougher. This Mahomes guy wouldn't have played through the that McMahon played through. He would've been out for the season on that infamous body slam.
