he's obviously an amazing player and i enjoy watching him on a team that's not the lakers. But i think he's become a more offensive minded player now, and may or may not recover the intense defense needed to beat lebron or durant.
Obviously something in pop's system lead him to go away. WE still don't know what that is. KL is very self motivated, but also very DIVA, how do you reconcile that?
So he will magically lose his natural ability to defend the best one on one because he conserves more energy for offense now? How does this make sense in your head?
That can't be right because in 2016-2017 Derozan had 105 points through his first 3 games.
In fact that season Derozan was the first player since Jordan to start the season with ten 30 point games within the first dozen games of a season.

you develop young players around kawhi who looked like there was some form of chemistry between then, yet you low ball them or didnt overpay to retain them cause u kept on deadweight tosb contracts, then u go out and chase after pau with the money...
surrounding kawhi with more tosb, while kicking out youth...
look at the year after getting lma, u let go simmons, dedmon, lee go... then u go chase the corpse of pau with that money u saved...hahahaa had one of the deepest rosters to 3 short productive players...

Media and NBA reward antics like you saw last season with Leonard. I don't know of any other profession that rewards people who miss a year of work while getting paid, and having their uncle do the calling in.
i watched the raptors today. He was guarding batum and not doing much in help defense or close guarding. Batum sucks though, so there's that,

Danny and Parker interacted throughout the game..they met before the game for a minute and they also did it afterwards(along with Ibaka)..
I didn't notice ANY interaction between TP and Kawhi..

Is it weird seeing Kawhi on the Raptors? I love the Raps, but still feel weird about it this season. Hopefully I get used to it as I'd love to see them do well in the playoffs.

I've noticed that, but after all the playoff failures our city needs a team that actually meets expectations. I have seen the Spurs very year since moving to Toronto in 2003, but the tickets with DeRozan returning are insanely priced! Well done on season tickets man

the worst thing is, once you develop them to a decent NBA player, you could still trade them at the deadline instead of letting them walk for nothing. Especially if you don't have (m)any assets in the first place

LOL no, Spurs won 67 games the season before and then choked horribly to the Thunder. They won 61 games when they reached the WCF but just because Game 1 was in their favor doesn't mean GS wouldn't have turned it up a notch.
I saw Green yucking it up with Parker. I didn't see TP and Kawhi being chummy. Maybe I missed it.
he didn't talk to him. He gave a post game interview and when asked about it, said he didn't talk to him. It's on youtube
