They can actually score the ball, last year's team was bad in that regard. Basically traded offense for defense. But cosmetically? This team looks better

in fairness, they had no idea what they'd get for Kawhi. They signed players without knowing or risk completely losing out... If this same roster comes back next year or a trade doesn't get made, color me baffled

Scrubs playing like scrubs. I don't know what I expected. This team was constructed without defense or any semblance of spacing in mind, and the coaching strategy seems to operate as if the three point line doesn't exist. Any sort of shooting that we do have gets completely exposed defensively. I don't know if it's ignorance, stubbornness, or complacency, but this antiquated garbage PAFTO is putting out there is pathetic. We give up so many open threes by over-helping and shoot so many contested twos out of ty post-ups -- half the time turning the ball over trying to get it into the post. It's just unfathomably stupid. The defense used to save us, but that's now nonexistent with the roster they've currently constructed. It feels like there won't be a single game this season where we create separation for a decent margin of victory. Our defense will always keep the opposing team in the game, and if our offense doesn't show up, we get blown out. The West is even tougher this year so no cruise control wins like in the past. Our guys play hard, but they're just not talented or coached well enough. We lucked out with the Big 3, and that's patently clear now.
