Sad like $10 minimum wage, expanding medicaid or going into a universal healthcare is considered moderate but I guess it is. Just going to $9 or $10 minimum wage paying off social security and even lowering the full minimum social security age to like 62 or 63 would be phenomenal for me

lmao nathan hehehe. Turnout was astronomical here in FL and Gillum still lost. maybe it was because he was a darkie but I think a lot of the rurals came out to go against him. Oh wait republicans freed the slaves, robertbyrdkkk.jpeg, they are the non racist party etc. my bad.
Gillum was polling better than Nelson the whole time, was running against the crazier candidate and ran a better campaign, but he was still further away from winning than Nelson was. I think it was definitely the case of people not wanting to be racist when polled but when casting their ballot they couldn’t vote for darkie.

In today’s economy I don’t think a $10 minimum wage would matter. Walmart now starts people at $10 iirc and I drive by signs outside of fast food restaurants every day saying “Now Hiring at $12 an hour!”. If you can’t get a job that pays $10 an hour right now you really suck

Racists don't like to be called racist, will deny it, because it's politically incorrect.

Yeah, well thats the thing its easier for big businesses to pay it so the really high wages only hurt smaller businesses and smaller areas. But thats another thing too I dont think this country is in such horrible we need such drastic changes. Youre still kind of a loser if you cant make it here in the US tbh so blowing it up and going super far left is not very appealing to me

Cruz being awful had so much to do this. even ducks s on Cruz
Well, whoever runs in 2020 will be running against Donald Trump, who's arguably awfuller.

(I can't believe awfuller is a word, btw, but no red underline)

I want Mic e Obama to run and have some moderate policies but she'd have to promise a lot of far left stuff to get through the primaries probably. Still seeing Trump lose to an Obama would be phenomenal.

    Underrated post lmao

Could you imagine $52,000 a year for a job where your biggest stress would be making sure to pull the fries out the oil when the buzzer sounds?

Age notwithstanding, I do still like Biden but I think his ship has probably sailed. He'd have to run with a minority or female VP too. Got to appease the liberal diversity militants.

$15 federal minimum wage is so ing stupid. No wonder democrats can't penetrate the rural vote. The owner of the Pizza Hut in Comanche, TX, probably nets less than $52K per year in total profit.

One such sign came in Nevada,

where The Hill reports that Republican Dennis Hof was able to win a seat in the legislature.

    The problem?

Hof died roughly a month ago.

What’s more, Hof was hardly a paragon of so-called conservative “family values,” as

    he owned seven brothels and

died after a weekend of heavy partying.

    He was 72.

That’s right, GOP voters elected a dead pimp to state government.

Are they gonna seat his corpse and have it vote like that Weekend at Bernie's movie? because that would be cool. I would watch that

Some gains? They took the house, and now have subpoena power. They took a ton of governorships. Passed a law in Florida to allow felons to vote. It was not a good night for Donald. Oh and when Mueller takes down Trump and Pence, guess who is third in line of succession
ya for Felons! Now if only you guys can push forward the illegal and non citizen vote

This is an oddly specific example. You don’t happen to have a family member that owns a Pizza Hut in Comanche, TX do you?

If a felon did his/her time then their debt has been paid to society and they should be allowed to vote.

I'd like a Beto/Klobuchar ticket to win. If it was whose policies I'd want it would be Warren/whoever.

Trump doing Jedi mind tricks by endorsing Pelosi for speaker and threatening to support her with GOP votes. That leaves those who want to oppose Trump at every turn unsure whether Trump is supporting Pelosi, or just trolling to try and get the democrats to dump Pelosi. Trump lives continuously in their thoughts.

Hope it works. Pelosi was a great speaker last time. Too bad Reid was such a piece of and couldn't get the votes for Pelosi's original ACA bill with the public option.
