Nah son. Is more resignation at this point. I have come to the realization that this team is extremely flawed. Just hoping they can keep the playoffs streak alive.

, Clippers gonna win. Nothing going right for the Spurs' playoffs aspirations this night.
It's November and you're already freaking out about the playoffs?

ing Kawhi has too much options next year. Hes got the option between two really good teams. Raps or Clippers. Clippers look like they're 47 win team and they have two max slots?

Man thats going to be hard to resist. If im kawhi, i wait for the clippers to sign their first max and if hes someone he wants to play with. Play with clipps. Otherwise stay with Toronto.

But i know dennis makes all the calls.
    Clips wont win 47.
I like shai he looks legit ...
But Clippers always get inujured at the worst time ...well because they are the Clippers.
Not rooting for it I like Shai, Harrell, and of course Sweet Lou ...

    But they're the Clips ...

I beg to differ. I think the Clippers will fight for that 8th seed. Doc thrives when there are low expectations.

    Hey, I am wrong sometimes.
I have no malice towards clips outside of Doc and maybe Pat Bev they have gotten rid of their annoying front running flopper stars (CP3/Blake/Jordan/Austin) and now have a likeable, (tobias, harrell, shai Lou) enjoyable fun team. Lawler still s on the Lakers announcing crew and you guys have West in the building ...yall still the Clips but look like fun.

I try Fabbs, we all have our biases for our favorite squads but I root for good basketball. (except in Boston and maybe Utah/Sacto)
It's why I liked the Spurs before I moved to SA ...outside of Bowen, it was all great guys, well coached, playing a high level of hoops.
Why as a former coach would I hate THAT?

Its just some of your fan base got to me because the hate was so thick and visceral ... I never came to SA or even on here to talk ish about the Spurs ...but you get sucked in.
Truth be told I admire the orginization, Duncan and Pop very much.
I always wanted a Kobe/duncan pairing over a shaqobe one especially after Tim's rookie year.

It amuses me that Tom Rivers has had such a long tenure with the Clips. He's like the Jason Garret of the NBA. The owner just likes the guy, and that's good at the end of the day.

It baffles me that 10 years later, people still think he’s a good coach because of the 2008 Celtics even though that team won by playing elite defense which was more Thibs than Rivers (not to mention how unbelievably stacked the team was, esp after it signed PJ Brown).

He provides probably less substance than any other coach does when they’re mic’ed up during games. It’s always some combination of “play harder!!!!” and “fight for loose balls!”

he runs good SLOB plays which makes him look liek a genius compared to the rank and file mediocre coaches, but that is all he is good at , tbh.

Ballmer wants continuity at the time he purchased the Clippers and though Rivers isn’t the finest pick, for the sake of a stable new beginning and the fact the Ballmer was too green to run a franchise, Doc was an obvious choice.

Funny because he made the biggest impact when the Clippers were less talented and depleted and it showed his ability as a coach.

Underrated talent for sure but most importantly, their pieces fit.

He did beat Craig CIA Pop in the 1st round.
Which is something only 5 coaches have done.

It was mostly CP0 riding Blake's coattails and taking all the credit, tbh.

Balmer acts like a yokel, but he is a shrewd AF globalist at the end of the day. He wouldn't have any problem getting the right guys in there from a business standpoint. Truth is Balmer's going to these games all the time and he wants to be buddy-buddy with the coach at the end of the day. Being the great kiss-ass he is, Tom Rivers picked up on this and basically ensured for himself a form of tenure.

This is why I like you my Clippah brother. You’re consistent

CP3 with 34 pts, Blake with 19 btw.
