If you consider Carolina and Minnesota wild-card favorites, then you're probably right. Also, Atlanta is likely out after losing to Cleveland, especially if they lose again this weekend... Dallas at Atlanta becomes another de-facto elimination game like tonight's game was.
I just looked at both teams' remaining schedule. These teams would have to pull some major upsets to get in.

Next week at Minnesota is almost an elimination game, arguably for both sides. but obviously Vikings have the advantage being at home.

    One more time....

SLOW DOWN GIVE THINGS SOME TIME.

All that...struggle above looks so rookie.

    Pay attention.

No QB in NFL history has had more 4th quarter comebacks in a season that Russell Wilson, yep, the record holder at 19.

No QB in NFL history has won more games in their first seven seasons than Russell Wilson.

No QB but Russell Wilson has ever had a 4000/30/500 season. 18 yards short of having two.

Only Russell Wilson has started his career with back to back 100 QB rankings.

He has thrown for 57 TD's the last two seasons, who has more?

Are you people ever going to figure this out? Russell Wilson is historically great, and a future Hall of Famer.

I keep saying......compare anyone ya want to Russell Wilson as far as their first seven seasons go, find someone who did it better. Who is that QB who did it better.....well?

Yes it took him awhile to settle down tonight but when it came time to win the game one perfect pass after another, ANOTHER 4th quarter comeback. Remember what Troy said....."Mr 4th Quarter Russell Wilson"

Never talk crap during the game, only rookies play that, those who get it....give things some time.

I'll never forget the SB between NE and Atlanta.

    Tom Brady is done
    The Pats suck!
    Falcons are killing the Pats.
Bill Belichick pay back for cheating.

    ......then.

    OK, they got lucky.
Hmmmm, ok the Pats have pride.
    Ah....hmmmm???

It was hilarious. Just like tonight.

    Struggle sucks.
    Struggle, hahaha!
    Struggle

    Now..........................................crick ets.

    Avante is dead.

    Rambling nonsense?

    Nonsense is this.....struggle

There is no QB in the history of the NFL with a higher passer rating than Russell Wilson in the 4th quarter. What did he do last night?

got lucky that they punted on 4th and short

    What if Carson doesn't fumble?

Rodgers just tossing it up and a guy makes his first ever catch.

The game shouldn't have been that close.

Wilson nailing throws once he settled down, he owned the 4th quarter.,

Only Rodgers has a higher passer rating in history for a career.

Nobody has a higher passer rating inthe 4th quarter, Wilson is number one.

No QB has ever thrown more 4th quarter TD's in a season, Wilson holds that record.

    Stold this.

Several trends point strongly toward Chicago in this matchup. The Bears have covered in three straight games, are 4-1 against the spread at home and 5-2 against the spread as favorites. Minnesota is a dismal 28th in the league in rushing, averaging just 91.7 yards.
According to the model, Chicago's second-ranked rush defense holds Minnesota's backs to well under 100 yards as the Bears cover in over 55 percent of simulations. That dominant defensive performance also helps the Under (44.5) hit 55 percent of the time.

I bet on Chicago for the first half; but I have hope in MN to win the game whether or not it happens.

Coming off a bye on the road for your Vikes, while another home game for the Bears. Big advantage Bears.

Vikes are too good defensively to count them out in any game.

I agree, but....3-6...coming off a bye since 2010. Big advantage having back to back home games for any team.

You really believe stats going back to 2010 mean a whole lot? Teams are constantly changing. Every season just about is something unto itself.

Not as much about the teams as it is the culture and coaching staff.

Ever notice the Pats are in constant change, how come they keep winning?

How many players have come and gone for the Browns/Lions? How come neither has ever played in a SB?

I get you don't understand trends/stats, trust me they matter.

Why does home field in the playoffs matter?

Sure; but that's not most teams. Most teams are pretty different in four years.

Yes you are but don't know it.

It doesn't matter who is on any team, some things never change. What difference could it make where ya play?

I don't get the point in starting Jackson if you don't feel confident in him throwing. Griffin at least showed he can do that.

they are doing their utmost to protect the pick, and yet they have 0 trust in him as a player.. not to mention, with those runs, he could be out with a concussion by now..
