Mexico deported 500 criminals? To the US?
Technically, people who have been deported to their home countries are no longer in the caravan.
Hopefully the worst of the worst have already been weeded out.

Rejected by Schiff then blocked by a Clinton appointed judge.
Trump tried bi-partisan reform but the Resistance wasn't having any of it.
They didn't need a deal with anyone other than other Republicans, Chris.
That's how Congress works.
Did you not know this?
You're welcome.
The Democrats and Schiff resisted everything Trump tried to do regarding immigration. Did you not know this?
Yes, and that means nothing if the Republicans all vote for a bill and Trump signs it into law.
you really don't know how Congress works.
You're welcome.
Trump never tried to make it a crime punishable by jail time to hire illegals. Instead he was jerking off over his re ed wall.
This is you tapping out. I don't even know why I entertain your trolling tbh.
No, Chris -- it's true. The Republicans could have passed a immigration bill, Trump could have signed it into law and there would have been nothing the Democrats could have done about it.
It's simple math and middle school civics.
You can't refute either.
Why can’t any Trump fan ever explain this to me. Of everything he says he’ll do, Trump refuses to stiffen the penalty for employers who hire illegals.
DOJ already increased the penalties for hiring illegal immigrants back in 2016. ICE is also targeting employers as well.
As far as I know they’re still only civil penalties involving monetary fines. Why not make it a criminal penalty punishable with jail time? There are a bunch of contractors in Phoenix who knowingly hire illegals and willingly take the risk because the worst case scenario of a monetary penalty isn’t a big enough deterrent.
There was actually a group of Jews who couldn’t get asylum in America during WWII because of unwarranted fear that they were communists, so they were sent back to Europe and most of them died.
All of that would have been a good narrative for Cortez to use, but per usual, she resorts to simply parroting progressive catch phrases and makes herself look re ed.
She's moved on to the Chinese camps now.
Maybe next up on pieces of American history she’s just now discovering, she’ll tackle the Japanese concentration camps that happened after Pearl Harbor.
Of all the things that the left wing needs, its own Sarah Palin isn’t one of them.
I agree but who goes to jail, the business owner or the foreman who did the hiring? Aren't LLCs and corporations exempt from individual jail time for hiring infractions?
Cry me a river they used tear gas on them
I think you’d need to demonstrate intent. If it’s someone who was pencil whipping I-9s and missed a few fake IDs then I don’t think that deserves any criminal penalty, but if there’s an obvious & systemic effort by an employer to hire illegals I would throw all parties involved in jail.
Wait until she gets to slavery in her Wiki searches. She'll herself.
Sorry, didn’t respond to this part.
Maybe they are, but if Trump is so impassioned about stopping illegal immigration, why not put legislation on the table that removes the exemption?
Seems like that would open the door to other litigation against these folks, meaning "incorporated" doesn't mean anything any longer, since you can be criminally charged for corporate decisions. I could see individual crimes like embezzlement, but hiring for the corporation? Stiffer financial penalties would be good, not criminal penalties though. I cannot imagine someone being in jail for giving someone employment.
I should mail her a copy of Howard Zinn’s the Peoples History of the United States. If she can get through it in the next few weeks she’ll have ample fodder to demagogue with when her term starts.
