& retire Marinelli and sign Kris Richard to a 20 million a year contract for the next 20 years to be the DC
gg Cowboys fans. The Saints offense the bed and deserved to lose. Look forward to a possible playoff rematch.
edit: After reading through the thread, the gg doesn’t apply to UNT as I see that all he did was about the refs and scream conspiracy, because the league really wants their biggest draw team to fail. ing re .
The Saints didn't need the game at all while the Cowboys had to have it, nothing more than that. In a playoff game the Saints will roll.
To wit Rams needed the Saints to lose for a shot at home field advantage in the playoffs so there's that.
How many times did we hear....that is the first time.....Brees hasn't done that in.....when was the last time the Saints.....?
It was really easy to see what was really going on, the Saints were simply flat, the Cowboys were stoked.
Now next week vs the Buc's the Saints will demolish them, totally into the game.
quit nitpickin bro![]()
truer words have not been spoken.
A few thoughts on the game
- Kamara looked tired and unhealthy, even before the headshot. He was a step slow all night. Ingram looked fresh and was running harder; he should have gotten more touches.
- Saints really missed Armstead last night; Brees had pressure in his face all night
- Saints D played one of their best games in the Payton era - 7 sacks and 2 forced fumbles, allowing only 13 points.
- Saints Offense played the worst game in the Payton era - vanilla play calling and no rhythm. Credit Dallas's D and scheme.
And Dak getting a max deal which will up the salary cap for the rest of the team
thank you dallas for ensuring the aints don't get to stay in their pussydome the entire playoffs![]()
Bad calls for and against both teams ...
1. Jaylon was helmet to helmet
2. Beasley knee was down
3. The offsides on Gregory was a 50/50 call and Cam Jordan was offsides even more on one of the Dak fumbles
4. WR pushed off on NOLA TD
That is why I normally dont about refs because you can point at missed calls throught the game.
LVH Lawrence and Jaylon are beasts ...
No way should Sean Lee get his job back ...
Saints we’re being lazy with kamara. They rarely had him run routes. He was mostly
carching dumpoffs in the flat and that smith/vander esch read them well and are fast enough tic get there and latch the wood just as the ball got there. Kamara rarely hasn’t open field to work with
The officiating was god awful to the point where the NFL should consider penalizing that group of officials but it wasn't a conspiracy against either team. It was just bad calls and missed calls on both ends.
Yeah missed calls on both ends. No excuses for the Saints. They didn’t deserve to win but they’re still 10-2 so one loss isn’t the end of the world.
My thoughts too, NFL refs are garbage.
I'm confused why people are acting like the Saints are now done. If anything this will knock the players back down to reality.
Funny how the narrative changes every week so drastically.
Will there be any kneeling this Week to protest Hunt's black brutality?
can't remember a game like this with so many bad calls on both sides, in which any of them could've very well decided who won if it had gone the other way. Off the top of my head, the helmet-to-helmet hit would've given the Saints a first down deep in Dallas' territory late in the fourth quarter instead of punting it away. The Saints' lone touchdown was off a push-off. Not egregious, but still clearly visible. Cole Beasley was given a first down during Dallas' late drive, when they should've punted. The Randy Gregory offsides.
All four plays would've really shifted momentum the other way if called correctly. tbh it's hard to feel proud of a win like that
It was going to be 4th and less than a yard. Not a punt situation when your offense is built on Zeke and the O-line. Especially after Garrett punted away the Houston loss.
