You're completely wrong there. Charlton isn't particularly athletic, doesn't get off blocks and has largely been a bust (though I didn't want to draft him in the first place, was an overdraft tbh)... has at ude issues and has 1 sack on the season, 4 total in his career so far. Gregory, on the other hand, has the Von Miller explosive first step, runs a 4.46 forty, and pursues and tackles ballcarriers from behind. Has 4 sacks this year mostly playing situational pass rusher only. Gregory is a stud at RE/ROLB but he's basically a rookie out there due to all the suspensions.
yeah I agree with this. Gregory is a pretty comical character for obvious reasons but he looks damn good rushing the passer. Seems like he’s in the area of the QB almost every play even if he doesn’t get the sack. That first step is nasty

Dude, who in the would pay any attention to a know nothing like you?

Now that I've seen things for myself..................
You completely avoided the flip flop he called you out on, likely because you can’t defend it.

Anytime you get a chance to talk about the Dallas Football Cowboys, it's a privilege.....it's a privilege.....we here at the Dallas Football Cowboys pride ourselves in hiring young men....and women....with character....character....

It's important that all of our guys have character....but when you're 6'6 240 lbs and run a 4.46 forty.....we let the character slide.....let it slide a little bit......

Now if you define character by being named First Team All-Big Ten and having 17.5 sacks in college then I'd say Randy Gregory has a lot of character.....Not only does Randy Gregory have character but he's a good football player in all three areas.....offense, defense, and kicking game.....

Speaking of Oregon who was that Cowboy RB who ran a 9.5 on the Ducks track team?

Little man, I could totally school your stupid ass talking your Cowboys so cool this Wiki crap, ok? So what were they this.......................close to being called? And, the first...Cowboys...in the NFL...The Kansas City Cowboys.

Hey be cool guy. We're having a civil, relevant football discussion. We're not making lists of old players nobody remembers let alone cares about.

Exactly.. We don't need self proclaimed historian dip s who just started following the Cowboys in week 12 in here posting Wiki's and YouTube vids trying to educate us on our personnel

Charlton not withstanding. Dude is a bust and a stiff since college; I'm still pissed off we didn't bring Watt to his big bro's state, tbh.

It took Demarcus Lawrence 3 seasons to show he was worth taking 1st..

Yeah I'm willing to give Charlton another year. People forget that he came out super raw out of Michigan. We have the luxury of waiting on him and rotating him with the plethora of rushers we currently have.

Pay Dak, he's all the Cowboys need with that D. Ah.....a big thumper RB wouldn't hurt, a chain mover.

Super raw yes... meaning he should have been a 3rd-4th round pick. Draft the guy who can help me win NOW (TJ Watt) 11 times out of 10.

also, we don't have a "plethora" of rushers.. there's no quality depth on the outside behind Lawrence and Gregory. Everyone else is inside.

I wanted Watt too but their reasoning was that he was out of position lol.

And inside guys count too. We have Lawrence, Gregory, Armstrong on the outside. Crawford, Collins, Woods, Ross, Reid, and Irving on the inside.

Well, being benched for a ty at ude the last few games doesn't really seem to have done much to motivate him. He just looked lost most of the time while playing, I would rather Armstrong/Gregory/Crawford keep getting his snaps.

    Lee back to starter.

They really do need to have both on the field.

There is absolutely no reason to start Lee whatsoever unless it is a nominal thing. The D is rolling, don't with it and definitely don't cut into LVE's snaps.

i dont know how you justify playing Lee over LVE right now. jerry made the right call in letting Dak keep the job even after Romo was healthy. odd.

on another note, its really impressive to me that the cowboys have been able to get Zeke so involved in the passing game. he's on pace for 70 receptions, 550+ yards.

Armstrong has no bend, looks even less athletic than Charlton... maybe about the same. Zero sacks for Armstrong and most of the season is over.

Lee starting just means unathletic-dumb-ass Damien Wilson goes to the bench. In a 4-3 you have 3 starting ILBs. Doesn't guarantee Lee a spot in the nickel or dime.

Worst case scenario you use LVE + Lee at LB in the nickel and move Jaylon Smith to SS which is a perfect fit for him due to his speed, instincts, tackling and hit power. Bum-ass Heath can warm the bench and play on special teams (where he belongs).

He's made more of an impact than Taco has in two years, I would say he is quite a bit better. He doesn't blow up the stat sheet but he is a solid rotational player.
