What is Flacco's contract like? What will they do with him in the off-season if they go with Jackson?

Flacco lost his starting job to Slim Tebow while Wilson has the seahawks in playoff position in a season when everybody thought Seattle was supposed to be bottoming out

    “Slim Tebow”

Sorry Clipper Nation but Joe Bags has been way too mediocre since his Super Bowl, Wilson is way better. Wilson’s supporting cast isn’t as bad as some people claim it is but it’s bad enough that it requires pro bowl level QB play to be a compe ive team.

you really think Shtick Nation gives a ? he's going to take this crap to the grave tbh

and lol mediocre. dude's been garbage since the super bowl... passer rating is usually a fluff stat in this inflated era, and Flacco's passer ratings by season since the SB win: 73, 91, 83, 84, 80, and 84.

we are in a season where QB's have astronomical completion %'s. is a career 59% guy who is completing 69% this year.

Flacco is at 61.2% with an abysmal 6.5 yards per attempt. the only qualifying QB's with lower Y/A are Josh Allen and Josh Rosen. his Y/A since the SB by season? 6.4, 6.2, 6.8, 6.4, 5.7, 6.5

dude's complete trash and an immobile stiff. baltimore has been a "darkhorse" pick to be good for the past 3-4 years and they're always in the ter because of flacco. his career legacy is just going to be a ty eli manning but with only 1 SB

yeah I hated Chatterjee his first few years because of all the slobbing he got from the media when he could only complete screen passes or pre-designed "pick" plays, all while being carried by an all time defense. some of his other theatrical bull was annoying too (i.e. crying tears of joy like he was the MVP in the NFCCG after throwing 4 picks, etc)

gotta give credit where credit is due tho. he's definitely put in the time, and is easily a Top 10 QB in the league at this point.

Hopefully the same kind of improvement can happen with Dak. He's also an uncle Tom who appears to be a square, so maybe there's hope for him to put in the work and get the same improvement. Chatterjee was still pretty ty in year 3 as well

Put Flacco on Seattle and he'd average 9 sacks per game behind that dreadful offensive line over the past 5 years

Yeah this is a myth that overhypes Wilson. His offensive line isn’t great or anything but it isn’t he terrible abomination that people say it is. A lot of Wilson’s sacks are due to him holding onto the ball too long.

A problem with Dak Prescott too, they want to do too much.

    Wilson is a good QB.

it's not that bad anymore. there was a 2-3 period stretch where they were the worst pass protecting OL in the league maybe outside of indy. then trading unger ed their run game too
