It's funny how a ballhog PG whose job is semmingly tonl score and to score only consistently struggle to out up 23 in a season. He's never had a 30ppg in a month ever.

His scoring is way too inconsistent. It's a travesty that i constantly have to hear him in the same breath as Harden as top scorers.

    Unreal tbh.

Sure he is a bit overrated, lots of "stars" are...
But he does, have the best handles in current NBA (maybe ever) and when he is hot from outside (doesn't happen consistently enough imo) he is damn near ungaurdable... Not sure he is top 5 or legit MVP candidates that is why I say a bit overrated but he is a top 10 player when healthy.

Kyrie is a proven playoff performer, the only thing holding him back is health. In the playoffs i'm taking Kyrie over any other pg not named Curry.

He is super clutch in the playoffs and an NBA champion. Harden and CP3, on the other hand, are regular-season monsters.

Any of the Lakers young players tbh
    that is pretty dumb.
Yes they are overrated especially by Laker fans.
But more overrated than any legit star?!
In fact, I would say the narrative except maybe for Kuzma is starting to shift that they are not meeting expectations especially for Lonzo/Ingram.

I get you trying to be funny (at least I hope so) but reality none of the young lakers are even relevant in this conversation we talking top 10 type players not bottom 50-100.

Kyrie is a modern day world b free. Only successful because he can’t be touched out in the perimeter.

I don't think anybody really overrates Kyrie. He's seen as pretty much what he is: a gifted scorer and proven clutch performer who also plays spotty defense and is injury-prone. I never hear him talked about in the same breath as the elite players.

More a modern-day Andrew Toney, IMO.

    1. Brandon Ingram
    2. Klay Thompson
    3. CJ McCollum
    4. Porzingis
    5. Ben Simmons

    Hm: Goran Dragic, Otto Porter

Kyrie was overrated, but I think people realize his flaws and strengths by now..he's actually having the best season of his career, this is the first time he's had any impact on a team other than making a couple of key shots..

His scoring is inconsistent because Ainge thought that the team of well coached role players who made a playoff run by sharing the ball would be able to reintegrate a player who dominates the ball as much as Kyrie does.

Ainge falling to package some combination of the young players who overperformed in the playoffs (Rozier and Brown most notably) while their stock was higher than its ever going to be again will be looked back on as a monumental up.

Fair point on Porzingis. People still assume he’s a future perennial all star just because he’s a European 7 footer capable of wiping his own ass.

    lol no

He got to play robin next to LeGOAT. There's plenty of second tier stars that would've shined playing alongside LeGOAT. Yeah, he has some clutch in him but that doesn't make him a Top 10 guy. Jason Terry was clutch too and hit some big shots to help Dirk get his le.

But to answer the OP's question, probably Luka Donutcic. I've never seen the media try so hard to lump a player in with all-time greats with dumb stats like "the only player alongside LBJ to have a 20/8/7 game at 19 years and 243 days". Or how about his latest "almost" stat? Almost became the youngest player to record a triple double. Maybe he'll be the youngest to almost make the playoffs too.

They used to do the same thing with Kobe all the time during the 90's. One of the reasons why as a young teenager back then I couldn't stand him.

by all metrics killa' kyrie is a top 10 player this season. he will be 1st or 2nd team all nba and quite deservedly...

don't understand why some LeGOAT asswipers still need to attack Kyrie more than two years later tbh. it doesn't add or subtract from LeGOAT's legacy at all, and I say this as just as big of a James fan

Also, I think the Celtics overall are overrated. Funny because they were underrated until last season, and now are definitely overrated.
