yeah, Fisher was godawful, but let's not act like he was replaced by a black young genius HC. McVay is white.
Kris Richard is the best black coach in football by far, and he's not even technically the Cowboys' DC yet.
So your argument is that even though spear chuckin Steve sucks he should keep his job since the offense sucks even more
The defense is why I say he should be fired. The offense being ty given the rookie QB / personnel is forgivable, but Wilks is supposed to be some defensive guru and his presence made the defense worse this year. If he’s incapable of doing what he’s supposed to already be good at it’s stupid to keep him around hoping his monkey brain will magically function properly![]()

The best fit for black coaches in the NFL is as defensive coordinator for head coaches with a defensive background (ie Romeo Crennnel for Bill Belichick). That way they don’t have any responsibility involving critical thought, scheme, or play calling, and their role is to simply ooga booga on the sidelines to get their players amped up.
Does the spear chucking oogba booga schtick actually get a reaction from anyone on ST the last 5 years?
No defense will grade out as good when they have to stay on the field so much due to an atrocious offense and turnover machine rookie...
Point being he was given 5x more leeway to fail than any black hc because it was ordered down from league headquarters, which has always been a good ol boys white club looking to protect their own. And he's not the only example either...
It just got a reaction out of you
The defense being ty this year goes far beyond the time of possession issue. The scheme doesn’t fit the personnel and it was wildly moronic for him to come in and not have the slightest ing clue that 4-3 defenses actually require a front 4 that can get pressure without blitzing.
Winning a Super Bowl at any point in time gives you a lifetime pass. There's no other explanation on why John Gruden coming back to the Raiders was akin to Michael Jordan coming out of retirement judging by the media coverage.
another good example. Gruden only won a sb by riding the scheme and personell already put in place by the black coach he succeeded and never won another playoff game. And was given a blank check after fawning white media sychophants shopped him for jobs for years in a way they never would have for a black ex coach just cause he was corny on tv for a decade...
For what it's worth; I would let the Cards coach have a second year from a very outside looking in p.o.v. But don't sell me on the idea that he's a victim if he isn't retained.
Always with your black power nonsense.
You never give it a rest.
Appreciate the sportsmanship. Hoping to bring in another Lombardi for the AFCN.
Right. That's why I've mostly been very skeptical of the Ravens' much-vaunted "#1" defense all season. It's a blitz happy 3-4. (They saved the game today with blitzing.) A real defense, IMO, is one that gets home with 4. That's the only way Brady has been beaten over the years, particularly in Super Bowls
i've never heard of him, but his name sounds black so i can imagine he's a racist too!
that's such a lazy take, unless you're willing to give him credit for putting together the scheme and personnel that made the superbowl that very year representing the AFC.
so in one year, you had a gruden assembled team and a separate gruden coached team in the SB. thats impressive as
uh, my point had nothing to do with black coaches? All I said was that winning a Super Bowl gives you a lifetime pass. As far as I know, Mike Tomlin is still the coach for the Steelers right? Idk what point you're even trying to make. Are you trying to say that Tony Dungy was treated unfairly? You think there weren't white coaches as well that were fired for not being able to win in the playoffs?
I can imagine it because the prevalence of such black power en ies being propped up by corporate America. I know you really wanted that one though, didn't you?
Chump Lite bringin' the sh** into NFL forum.
colts are gonna be scary.
- luck is under contract through 2021 with manageable cap hits of 27.5, 28.4, and 21 during that stretch
- they have the most cap space in the NFL with very little in the way of key free agents they need to retain. over 122 mil in space
- they have one of the league's better OL's
- they also are getting an extra 2nd round pick this year from the jets (#35 overall pick) as part of their trade-down last season
Yea, they are trending in the right direction; youth and an experienced QB; I could see them reaching the SB within a couple years.
a lot of people like them signing leveon bell, but they already have mack/hines on cost-controlled deals and they've been fairly productive this year. this is an offseason with quite a few big name pass-rushers likely to be available in free agency. demarcus lawrence, trey flowers, clowney, frank clark, brandon graham. they can also swing for the fences and hope Suh can be a difference maker.
it's hard to really find an issue with this team right now. their defense is playing well, their OL is stacked, QB plays at an mvp level, and they're mostly young. they got off to a rocky start due to luck's rust and an absurd amount of injuries to their offense. otherwise they'd have coasted to a division win and likely a first round bye.
Yeah they’d be re ed to break the bank for Bell. Sign one of the elite pass rushers and continue to build through the draft but keep enough cap room to be able to sign your young players as their contract expire.
Agree 100%. If they could somehow pry away Clowney from the Texans that'd be a double steal, but I think he gets franchised. I think Lawrence gets re-signed long term and Frank Clark also gets franchised. Brandon Graham will be let go because the Eagles are in cap and still don't have a QB under contract long term. But Graham is probably too old. Guys like Suh and Ngata are definitely too old. Trey Flowers might be their best bet, Patriots won't keep him and he's young enough. And the Colts should look to draft the best pass rusher they possibly can
Trey Flowers has “above average player who gets overpaid for being on the Patriots” written all over him, I wouldn’t touch him.
Its a pretty crappy year to sign free agents which is largely why teams like the Colts need to be careful. There aren’t very many great ones while there are tons of teams with loads of cap room. Leveon Bell knew what he was doing when he held out to be a free agent this year.
Agree about Flowers, he's overrated. Patriots lack of a front 7 is why they'll lose in Arrowhead this year after giving another good run.
Still, not sure Bell ever makes up the $17 Million he lost this year. He'd have to make about $18 million more guaranteed (5m/year guaranteed assuming a 4-year deal) than the offer he rejected with the Steelers this past spring.
I think some ty team like the Jets blows its wad on Bell because of media/fan pressure and he ends up doing just fine.
Even if that doesn’t happen, I still don’t believe you turn down that much guaranteed money unless you have an under the table agreement for a long term deal with another team in 2019.
He could probably go to jail for that? Wouldn't put it past him, though
