ing sucks because when you go to Mexico, they don't sell the opioids per-unit, you have to buy a load and they're not much cheaper.
they don't walk millions of dollars worth of drugs across desert terrain. They use ports of entries and tunnels
No, you see it’s easier to send 200 wandering peasants each with a sack of coke never finding the same destination rather than using one desperate driver with 500 hidden backpacks in a large truck that gets easily by too few inspectors. No we need a wall since 85% of the drugs go through places with barriers, but get passed thru. Drugs can fit between slats in a steel fence, so....
We need 5 billion dollars worth of concrete. Drug problem solved.
Thank you Chris.
Brilliant plan.

There are currently 32 ongoing, declared national emergencies right now, one of them declared by DJT. There's zero doubt that calling another one tonight would be an abuse of power, but calling it a coup, absent other actions, is hysterical.
Declaring a non-emergency a national emergency just to bypass the US Congress on something the president wants is very dictator-like. DJT's contempt for the US government could hardly be any clearer. I hope he doesn't push it too far.
If he does, there will be a political price to pay, probably sooner than he thinks.

DOJ "perilously close" to disseminating disinformation about terrorism:
https://www.lawfareblog.com/case-clo...-and-terrorism
If 3700 terrorists were caught at the southern border, there should be 3700 or so active prosecutions for terrorism, no?
We don't just catch and release them, do we?
I never said it wasn't a big deal and I certainly never said any of this is normal, but I'm not calling the time of death of the US republic.
We're not there yet.
If we do get there, we'll see whether Republicans really believe in the USA, or prefer to be Trumpist fascisti who broke republican government to merely cling to power
you could be right, Bonnerific.
the weird thing to me is that you can't conceive that you might be mistaken.
prognostication is a fool's game.
