I missed most of the 4th quarter because ty plane WiFi wasn’t working. Highlights anyone?
Not much. Saints made a FG after a big run by Ingram. Quick stop. Saints drove but missed a FG with a few minutes left and then Foles threw a pick after Jeffrey missed the catch which pretty much iced the game.

Saints have been the best team in the league all season. Don’t fool yourselves. After the first quarter the Saints dominated the game. It will be a tough game with the Rams and may lose but it won’t be blowout.
Saints got red hot in the middle of the season, but have come back down to earth. They’re a lot closer to the team that lost to Dallas & Tampa Bay than they are to top teams like LA or KC.

The Saints fell down to earth, but they keep winning regardless. They looked very beatable today, but they won anyway.

    I will take that, easily.

    Thoughts from the game:

The crowd was loud, probably one of the top 5 loudest games I’ve been to in the dome.

Saints came out completely flat. If we fall behind 14-0 to the Rams, we won’t come back. I’m sure there’s plenty of hot takes from the usual suspects in this thread when the score was 14-0 about Foles magic, Saints being overrated, etc. I’m looking forward to some good laughs when I go back and read the thread.

The loss of Rankins is huge. He was the unsung hero of the D this year. He will be missed.

The play of the game was Lattimore’s first interception. The team finally seemed to wake up after that.

The final score was much closer than it should have been. Saints dominated the total yards 420-250, and that’s even after the Eagles had the first 150 yards to the Saints 0.

Anyways, fun game but definitely nerve wracking. I agree with what HH said about Foles seeming to always get in situations to steal a game despite being very pedestrian. That was the second game in a row that he didn’t even put up 20 points. Pretty underwhelming.

I can’t wait to be in the dome for the NFC Championship game next weekend.

This might not be wrong but I don’t think the Rams are that good either, especially on the road in Nola having to deal with crowd noise from grimy Katrina rats.

I think the Rams are as legit as it gets, who went cold for a little while. I think McVay is a way better coach than Payton too. The only question mark with the Rams is if good Goff or derp Goff shows up.

Why would you be pulling for a division rival? That’s like Saints fans cheering for the Falcons or Avante cheering for the Seahawks.

Jeez, can someone ING cover #13? It's not ing rocket science to cover the slowest receiver on the field. ING DUMBASSES.
wtf? Thomas made 1st team All Pro. He knows how to get open

Because it's fun to root for people who's game you like or can relate to as a person? People take sports way too seriously when it comes to being a real "fan"

Just cuz Boys are out I'm supposed to be completely neutral or root for teams in my division to be eliminated based on nothing. I'll root for the team or player I find likeable.

I think the consensus was that the Rams were the top dog, up until the head to head then it flipped afterward. But that was mainly due to the fact that the Rams had a tougher schedule the first half of the season, and their wins just looked better than the Saints' wins.

I think the Rams and Saints at this point are pretty evenly matched, imo. Saints have the better defense, and the Rams have the slightly better offense. Both teams had a stretch where they looked unbeatable during the season, and have come back down to earth somewhat since then. I'll take New Orleans simply because of HFA

The one really inexcusable play was where Beasley & Cooper were both wide open, and Dak manages to throw it exactly in between them and almost got it picked off you can’t give him the keys to the franchise when he’s making throws that bad.
The two missed throws that are concerning to me were two short passes to Cooper and Elliott where the defender was only a step behind. Both passes were in tight windows, but definitely ones that Pro Bowl QB's make and ones you have to make to win playoff games. Both of them would've been for first downs. I just don't see Dak complete enough of those types of passes, he needs guys like Witten/Beasley/Cooper who consistently leave their man in the dust to get separation. Probably why he never had chemistry with Dez. this pinpoint accuracy is why guys like Brady, Rivers, Brees, etc can play with scrubs year in year out and still be compe ive

I hope the Chiefs win the Super Bowl, but I won't completely be devastated if it's the Saints or the Rams.

That said, I kind of don't respect much of the Saints fan base for rooting for the Cheatriots in SB 51.

Grimy Katrina rats don't generally afford tickets to the game. It's a majority white crowd because the seats are pretty darn expensive

It's usually less than 20% though. There was a black girl hanging out with 3 white girls. They were all pretty attractive. That black girl had expensive hair/makeup so probably had some money.

yeah, people forget that states like LA/MS vote Trump/GOP 70-30 roughly, so it's pretty obvious that outside of the big cities it's a strong majority white population

4 pocket passing QBs in the championship game. I thought they where on their way out?

Thanks slacker Jeffries for ending Foles Magic.
    I recant my statement.
Played thru broken ribs this year. Was still hindering his movement. Probably hurt like f to raise his hands up like that on a high over-the-head pass.

The blacks are going to try and take hang their hat on Mahomes, even though he’s a very good pocket passer.

Patrick is as white as you or I. My nephews went to school in Lindale at the same time he was at Whitehouse and they all kinda ran in the same circle. Let's just say there weren't many brothas in that group.

Yeah he’s an oreo if I’ve ever seen one, but OJ Simpson was about as big of an Uncle Tom as you’ll ever see but didn’t stop black America from embracing him for escaping a murder conviction

I recall Watson being gassed in the later part of their game because of all of the scrambling he was doing.
Sure he made a couple of first downs running it but had little zip left on his throws.

NFL defenses always always catch up with QB runners after about a year or so.

Lamar will have a very mediocre year next year if he can't figure out how to pass first, run only where he has to. Probably will be injured by week 7 if he plays the same way as this year.

I was shocked when I heard Mah is half black, the first time i saw him I thought he was so white he may have been a KKK descendant..
