what? Those classes got dropped because of the re ed emphasis on standardized testing that we’ve seen in K-12 education the last ~30 years or so, has nothing to do with a liberal agenda (same reason there’s less PE, schools are focused on cramming for standardized testing so they can compete for funding). Sex Ed isn’t even taught in high school when those classes used to be taught, it’s almost always in middle school.
So, how do you propose to see if students are progressing or teachers are held accountable if not for standardized testing? Anything tied to funding is going to be emphasized.

There are many tools to help Doctors, Engineers, so on and so on. If you ever worked in any industry, everything has ing bugs everywhere. The Doctors or Engineers use their "Experience" in their field and they make a determination. The computers don't have this. Illegals will be here picking during my lifetime. That I can bet.
LOL - you don't have to tell me about "bugs." Computers (through AI) have the ability to "learn" from any pattern. And medicine (as in diagnosis) - if this is present, that blood level, that symptom, etc = particular diagnosis. I think they'll (doctors) will be replaced (or greatly reduced) before nurses - changing bedpans, turning patients, taking temperature/bp, etc.

How is it comprehensive if it doesn't include the wall?

    Explain.
Do you really want to be spoon fed this badly?

Nothing's overplayed. In the upcoming election, Democrats aren't going to be able BS that border security is any sort of priority. Americans don't want people coming in lowering their wages. If Dems were smart, they would've understood that from last presidential election. But lobbyists are steering their boat. This is a huge W for the president.
This shutdown isn't over broader immigration reform, it's about that stupid wall. The vast majority of people don't care about it other than Trump and his base and the Dems certainly aren't after those voters.

IMO, he's not getting that wall through Congress, and every day this shutdown continues he's taking an L after another (which affects from the common people traveling to the farmers he screwed over with tariffs).

I get it he's going to have to find a way to save face on this, tbh, but other than the Dems caving, I don't see it.

    AI's.

Tells me how far from the wagon you are.

"Coding" something to respond with "human responses" is nothing ing close to diagnosing someone without potentially killing them or designing a building and the 10's of other engineering teams to finish a project.
I am not referring to coding. Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning is what I'm referring to.

Stanford’s deep learning algorithm was tested against 21 board-certified dermatologists who reviewed a reported 370 images and were asked if “they would proceed with biopsy or treatment, or reassure the patient” based on each image. Results showed that the algorithm had the same ability as the 21 dermatologists in determining the best course of action across all images.

I mean what proof is there? I see zero ing movement anywhere.
It's coming. At first, it'll be tools to "help" the professionals and then it'll reduce the number and then eventually replace. Imagine - no salary, no sickness, no vacation, not getting tired/making mistakes, etc - it'll be a business decision - the same way a Physician's Assistant does my annual checkup now and one physician "signs off" on all her decisions - replace docs' salary/time with PAs.

Dems went in vacationed in Puerto Rico with their lobbyists because they didn't want to invest in that "stupid wall". Big W for Trump. Dems stripes shown. Even giving the finger to dreamers.

Why wouldn't it include a measly (according to you) $5 billion for a wall?

I think the only thing the doctors have in their favor is the lobbying power of the AMA and more importantly, BigPharma. They won’t sit idly by and watch prescriptions decline.

Most of health care (optometry, primary care, etc.) are consolidating into these big companies. The only one which seems to be lagging is dentistry/orthodontics, where in my area, there are still single owner prac ioners. I am amazed at the number of prescriptions I see (literally bulging from their containers) at my local CVS when I pick up my son's epipen annually. IOW, a lot of the problem is rooted in lack of information/misinformation of basic nutrition - that is handed out by not only the doctors/PAs themselves but the government (MyPlate (no fat), food pyramid (old, I know), etc).

A case could be made that the old food pyramid actually led to more health problems and some of the major associations (American Cancer Society, and American Heart Association in particular) are influenced heavily by corporate interests.
