So that's your argument now, Peyton is better because he was drafted higher
No, I'm saying that cir stances have played a vital part on this whole Manning/Brady argument. If Brady would have been selected by any team that had a decent young starting QB, he probably would have stayed as a subs ute his entire career.

Manning on the other hand was a generational talent that couldn't be ignored at any point of his career.

Still waiting on this link to the epic "callout bout Derrick White".

How good can the callout be when you can't even get the poster that you called out right?

So your argument is a bunch of hypothetical scenarios that didn't actually happen and you have no way of proving they would actually happen, not to mention they're completely divorced from actual reality

Just one example of how stupid your logic is, what team with a good young QB would be drafting Brady? Any team drafting him would have had to have some need at QB.

You might as well say "If Tom Brady's mom had gotten an abortion then he wouldn't have any superbowls!"

Main reason the Patriots even got here is because Matt Patricia wasn’t around to pussy up the defensive gameplan. Brian Fores actually has the balls to blitz every once in a while and not just sit back in “bend but don’t break” style cuckball.
Their defense was pretty impressive considering they aren't particularly talented IMO..surprisingly got a nice pass rush most of the game, too..they were better than the score implies..

    Agreed.

My ideal racial breakdown for a coaching staff has always been a defensive minded white guy as the head coach, a white offensive guru as the OC, and a black guy as the DC who can rely on the head coach for actual Xs and Os / brain power while calling aggressive plays and getting the players amped up with African battle cries.

Romo calling every play before it happens
He called three in a row on that OT drive.

Also at NFL not including the Dee Ford play on the highlights.

My argument is based on reality, tbh. From what I saw in reality, it's clear to me that Manning was the better QB of the two, but Brady had the opportunity of playing for better teams and for the GOAT coach.

FWIW, I have no problem with people ranking Brady over Manning, in fact I might actually do the same, just like I would rank Duncan over Shaq because of longevity and accomplishments even though Shaq was, imho, the better player of the two comparing both at their absolute primes.

If you have a need at QB you don't wait 'till the 199th pick to draft one, tbh.

Who would you rather have, tbh?

    1. Reggie Wayne, Marvin Harrison, Edgerrin James, Joseph Addai
    2. Wes Welker, Deion Branch, Julian Edelman, Randy Moss for one year.

How? It's literally based off of hypotheticals that never happened

From what I saw in reality, it's clear to me that Manning was the better QB of the two
the Medvedenko argument. "Kobe is better than Jordan because I watched both and say so!"

but Brady had the opportunity of playing for better teams and for the GOAT coach.
The GOAT coach who has a below .500 career record when he doesn't have Brady as his starter?

FWIW, I have no problem with people ranking Brady over Manning, in fact I might actually do the same, just like I would rank Duncan over Shaq because of longevity and accomplishments even though Shaq was, imho, the better player of the two compartir both at their absolute primes.
The difference being that peak Shaq was noticeably better than peak Duncan, and peak Shaq also had a substantial amount of playoff success. Peak Manning consistently choked in the playoffs, his two superbowls came with him playing game manager. Brady has both game manager superbowls and superbowls where needed to put of tons of points.

If you have a need at QB you don't wait 'till the 199th pick to draft one, tbh.
If you have a QB who's nearing the end and you know you'll need one in the next 2-3 years, taking a late round flyer is something that happens all time. Either way, using draft position as a knock against Brady is re ed.

Peyton wouldn't, he'd demand a trade if a coach ever tried to make him play in a system.

What exactly can the Rams do to win?

Patriots offensive line has been DOMINANT so far against 2 great pass rushes..maybe Donald and Suh can generate pressure on the interior, but it won't matter when 100% NE's gameplan will be to use short passes and wheel routes against LA's LBs..

Rams have been killed by the run all year, too..

Are they really gonna be able to beat them in a shootout with Goff and weapons that aren't anything special other than a potentially injured Gurley?

The Brady/Manning argument is like the Russell/Chamberlain one. One day the Jordan of the NFL will come and nobody will give a about these two, tbh.

Their offensive line is going to need to dominate the way Philly's did a year ago but I don't think it's that good. The way you beat New England's D is by completely removing the pass rush so the QB has 5+ seconds to throw. If Goff has all day to throw then the Rams have a chance imo.

On defense, as you said, it'll pretty much come down to Donald and Suh. If the Patriots are able to block them then Brady should be able to move the ball at will. The Rams' secondary isn't very deep after Talib and their safeties are awful against the pass.

I think 2000 Shaq was, but his peak didn't last long so Duncan still had the way better career.

100+ yards from Gurley and C.J. again would be a start. Follow the Cowboys gameplan I guess.
