Brees-Brady dream Super Bowl matchup ruined. Sad man.
I still can't believe that was missed....between that and Durant's out of bounds no call in the NBA earlier this year.....just terrible. That missed call changes NFL history especially if the Rams end up winning it all.
Brees-Brady dream Super Bowl matchup ruined. Sad man.
you got Renfro caught the ing ball
It’s literally only been a day. Let the loss marinate for a few years before going that far.
Vikings were best on both sides of the ball. And if you want to talk about choking, you won cos Peyton gave you the ball on that INT.
that was one of the more obvious missed calls to close a game. its not even a controversial close call like the dez catch. the ref just didnt call it.
PI has been one of the worst enforced rules as a whole for the last decade or so, though.
Vikings didn’t deserve to win that game. You can’t turn the ball over the amount of times they did whether it was interceptions or fumbles and say you got screwed when the game was theirs to take. Saints played their worst game of the year on offense and the Vikings kept letting the Saints back in it with numerous turnovers. Peterson had 3 fumbles, Favre two picks, two more Vikings had fumbles. It was a cluster of a game to be honest which neither side deserved to win. But the Saints were a better matchup against the Colts that season. Otherwise Peyton would have gotten his second ring and that would have been a disaster since he would have had a claim at GOAT at that point. Couldn’t allow that asshole to be goat.
those vikes were pretty great imo, truly had lightning in a bottle. i think they woulda beaten the colts tbh
he's right
but can we also take a minute to talk about zuerlein... i get that they're in dome conditions, but that was some absurdly clutch kicking. 48 yarder to send the game to OT is one thing, but the 57 yard game winner was right down the middle, and that would have been good from 70
That's what makes it funny; that they turned it over, what was it five times? And the Saints still needed help from the refs at home.
Sure though, the Vikes can look in the mirror. If Adrian Peterson had an IQ above 50, he might've known how to make sure to hold onto a ball at the five yard line and to go up 21-0 at the half and shut the door!
That's really the point of it all though; the Saints were gifted that game in every sense. They were gifted that season; that's how so many of their games went to have gotten HFA in the first place.
That game was tied 14-14 at the half, when did the Vikings ever have the opportunity to go up 21-0?
"No team should ever be denied the opportunity to reach the le game (or simply win a game) based on the actions, or inactions, of those charged with creating a fair and equitable playing field. As is clear to all who watched the game, it is undeniable that our team and fans were unfairly deprived of that opportunity yesterday. I have been in touch with the NFL regarding yesterday’s events and will aggressively pursue changes in NFL policies to ensure no team and fan base is ever put in a similar position again. It is a disservice to our coaches, players, employees and, most importantly, the fans who make our game possible. The NFL must always commit to providing the most basic of expectations – fairness and integrity."
-New Orleans Saints owner Gayle Benson
rofl who cares about this ?
You keep bringing up this game from 10 years ago in almost every thread
He’s also just making up, the Vikings were never in a position to go up 21-0.
