A wall would probably most likely disrupt( not eliminate) movement of contraband and people. Do you really think border patrol, police, fbi, cia, homeland security, dea, etc want that? no! It will cut into their jobs and funding. What the are they going to do when theres no more chuntaros (mexican indians) to pick on, molest and harass? All those drugs and there destruction fund their livelihoods. Its like running out of Nazi's to kill in call of duty. The majority of americans don't benefit from this but they do. Pretty much this. I would support Trump 100% if he would take that $25 billion he keeps "asking for" for the re ed wall and instead wanted to put that towards prosecution and jailing of Americans who hire illegals, but what's he going to do: throw himself in jail? As long as there is huge unchecked demand for illegal labor they're going to keep coming.
I would NEVER support Trash under any condition. Nothing positive he would do would offset his negatives.

My 23 yr old daughter got on a cross country flight last weekend without any form of ID. I saw the TSA agent roll his eyes, wave her though, and say “Just go—you are the 8th one today!” But no delays

Not to mention how easy it'd be to sneak stuff in through the dreaded Southern border given the scaled back border patrol we have during shutdowns
But yeah, the scary thing is that it seemed to vary airport by airport (and even checkpoint by checkpoint) as to how the TSA was handling it. DFW cut a lot more corners on security to keep the lines shorter, while from what I've seen Atlanta wasn't sacrificing any security at all no matter how long the line got. There was clearly way too much discretion given to lower level employees as to how to handle staffing shortages.
