I saw pictures of "four tramps" they picked up that day and one of them was almost the same size as DDR!

People are forgetting just how good DeRozan was to start the season.

21.5 ppg, 6.3 apg, 6.2 rpg on 47% shooting. How many guards can claim to put better production than that? Curry, Harden, Lillard, Westbrook. Who else? Thompson, no way. McCullum neither. Holiday, Murray, Doncic, Mitc ? Nah.
This. DeMar looked like a distant MVP candidate to start the season. The guy was the solitary reason the our guys didn’t start the year in a bigger hole

Time for Lonnie to take Demar’s minutes! Not really expecting much from Lonnie tbh but he fast out there and he’s gonna need some burn

As I was hoping, he is out taking care of his ineffectiveness and piss poor at ude. We can chalk it up as an injury, pretty standard occurrence in a long season. Hopefully he is not home crying after PATFO had an honest talk with him. Regardless, the team is better off without the recent DDR, and maybe without even the best DDR.

I don't understand why this should cost him the ASG. There is no reason on earth to have him in the ASG anyway.

That would definitely be nice to see Lonnie get some minutes.

He’s still a net negative on the season. Spurs are still just a 6th/7th seed. Same applies to Aldridge. Being good for just 65% of the season isn’t enough. DD has nose dived recently whereas LMA has picked up his game. I don’t think either deserve a spot but they’ve definitely had good stretches this season.

Who deserves to be on the all-star game over DeRozan/Aldridge?

This team has made a habit of losing games they should win this season. Games against the Magic, Bulls, Suns, Memphis (X2), Hornets and the Sixers game the other night. Give us those seven losses back and we're a half game out of the first seed in the West. They better take each game seriously and not crumple like a paper bag in the 4th quarter...even if it's the got damn Suns and their 8 game losing streak.

Super frustrating. Obviously you can't expect the team to have it every night...each season is laden with a few of these bunnies. But with the way the standings are right now, even getting half of those winnable games would have the Spurs in the drivers seat for home court advantage in the first round or two.

Off the top of my head buddy I'd say some order of:

Curry, Westbrook, Durant, Lebron (even though he's been injured lately), AD

Lillard, Harden, Doncic, PG, Tobias Harris, Jokic, and I know Jrue Holiday could be a head scratching pick because the Pelicans as a team aren't very good but his play this year has been superb and would take him over DeMar for the all star game this year.

    DeMar: 21.5 ppg, 6.3 apg, 6.2 rpg, 47% shooting. Team record: 29-22
    Aldridge: 20.9 ppg, 2.6 apg, 8.6 rpg, 51% shooting. Team record: 29-22

    Doncic: 20.5 ppg, 5.4 apg, 6.9 rpg, 43% shooting. Team record: 22-27
    Holiday: 21.2 ppg, 8.1 apg, 4.9 apg, 48% shooting. Team record: 22-28
    Harris: 21.2 ppg, 2.6 apg, 7.9 rpg, 50% shooting. Team record: 28-23

So you would rather have players with worse/similar stats and worse records than Aldridge and DeRozan?

As I said before, stop lying to yourself when you say you're a Spurs fan and you're just here to defend Kawhi. Because clearly you're not. Just read your own posts. You're a dumbass troll in denial. Go root for the Raptors.

And if he is, so what? He's still supporting his teammates even if he's not playing, which is obviously what good leaders should do

Pretty sure DeMar was on the grassy knoll.
I'm pretty sure most of the league is on the grassy knoll. It'll be legal soon.

He was obviously tired or injured by his play. The dude has always been able to score and now all of a sudden he can't score? Something was up. Take a break and come back to us after the all star break nice and refreshed.

He likely won't need that much rest, and could play if needed now. With this 4 game home stretch, he can be held out for another game or three.
