    immense pressure

lebron runs the lakers now. if he brought a championship to cleveland. doing it in LA is a piece of cake.

    this is going down.
There is inmense pressure because Lebron is 34 already.

lebron doesn’t follow your usual father time timeline

with the way he plays, he can be a very effective 18, 7 and 8 by the age of 37

They can't right now. They can in the offseason.

Kyrie’s contract expires, they sign him to a non-exemption contract and trade for Davis.

Sure, that isn't enough to win championships though.

I know that. But I'm hearing he's gonna bounce to New York with KD. KD, Killa Kyrie and Kristaps is a KKK tandem nots to be ed with in the East.

Go ahead and add him to the list of big names who have been reportedly interested in signing with the Knicks some time in the last 10 years

Id also say it’s more like a KK tandem since Pusszingis plays like 20 games a year

    What's so funny?

The whole deal of getting Lebron was getting the best player in the planet. An 18, 7, 7 guy isn't the best player in the planet.

If Ainge really offered Tatum the Pelicans should wait and trade him to Boston in the summer. Everyone wants to see a trade done and fast but the Pelicans are going to do whats in the best interest of their franchise and not to help LeBron and Magic out so they have a fighters chance with AD at upsetting Warriors. Right now the Lakers focus should be on making the playoffs and getting their players healthy.

Can't happen. The Knicks would only have about $4.5 million in capspace for Irving after signing Durant. LOL that $18 million due to Tim Hardaway Jr and $13 million due to Courtney Lee completely s them.

NOLA would surely want to dump Holiday's contract if they're handing you Davis for crap, so there is no way out of the Lakers gutting their team if they trade for Davis.
That’s why I said it’s a lot more complicated than simply trading away their young guys.

If rumors are true, the ambiguity with Kyrie and Celtics seems to me Davis to the Lakers is a forgone conclusion. I can count two teams where AD can compete right now and resign to a long term contract. The list is incredibly short.

If Davis not wanting to resign with Boston is true, then it's a deal breaker.

More likely scenario for the BRPelicans?

    A) Don't trade AD. Have your best player on the roster the rest of the year - not truly invested in "his teammates" or the organization. Why should they follow his lead? And why would AD wanna risk any further injury in a futile attempt at the 2019 playoffs? Current position: 13th place.

    B) Keep him for the rest of the year. Try to change his mind thru spirited play and max effort. Sure, you still going lotto, but they can try to convince him "they're're building something!" NOLA PATFO: We know you are wasting your prime, but please be patient. Who cares if we're only 25th in attendance - despite you being here.

    C) Trade him to the Lakers, and piss off you farmers.

The choice is obvious to LkrFan

no way you give up tatum if he wont re-sign
he is by far the best young player in any of thhese supposed talks.
I take him over Porzy, Ingram, Lozo, kuzma ....

and not sure i would take him over zion yet waiting to see Zion perform vs UVA once more UNC twice, ACC and NCAA Tourney before I go all ga-ga over him like everyone else.

Only person of past two drafts inluding Ja morant? im for sure taking over tatum maybe doncic ...
