it seems to me the pelicans want to make a deal.. not sure how are ingram, kuzma and ball of any value to a team like the pels.. all three of those will need new contracts very soon and none of them can be a 2nd banana on a play off team

They really should just shut him down for the season and tank, then trade him in the summer when Boston can get involved and raise his trade value. Not really sure a deal centered around Pascal Siakam is enough for a player like Davis, though it beats the out of anything Magic can offer.
Adding Davis with James means 40 touches by 1 guy who will never shoot the three and another who only shoots on occasion. The Spurs get away with this because they have great three point shooters around LMA and DDR. The Lakers do not have those shooters, so in today's NBA it is not as good as a move as it would have been 10 years ago.
Siakam had a really good game tonight, going head to head with Giannis & the Bucks, scoring 28 on 12 of 19 shooting, and helping hold Antetokounmpo to 19 points on 13 shots. If New Orleans is smart, this is the guy they get for AD, along with a few other pieces.
