Nick Wright is an insufferable got.
One of the few time I agree with Nick. This morning he said the same thing I was arguing with Amb (or someone else here about last year) ...the injury history of players OVER 7 foot 2 is NOT good. at all
Mark Eaton is the only one to avoid major and or recurring debilitating injury. I really like Luka and hope this works well to give him a legit #2. I also think it's worth the gamble by cubes.
But when dude is missing 30-40 games at over $30 million per season just remember I said this. Plus they also ate some bad salary in the short-term. Mavs have givebn up on teh big fish strategy. (dallas is great maybe dudes dont wanna be a basketball star in a football town?)
Absolutely love the homerun swing ... but with homerun swings there is a chance you strike out with the bases loaded too
Examples: Illgauskas, Smits, Sabonis, Sampson, Swen Nater, Muresan, Bol, Thabeet, Sabonis, Closs, Yao ...
some of those guys like Illgauskas, Smits , Sabonis and Yao had some great years ...
Nick Wright is an insufferable got.
He is.
Lebron is a mount rushmore player, but his love for Bron is creepy ...
I don't really care about NY getting big name FAs because we were not going to attract the same guys so it's not like we will be missing out tbh. Basically we traded our cap space this summer (none of those guys were in our long term plans) for Porzingis because we knew we wouldnt get anyone of his level in FA and would end up overpaying for mediocre talent again so I think that was a good decision.
What worries me about this trade is that for the Mavs everything is riding on him staying healthy and if he doesn't we are ed. Meanwhile the Knicks have several ways of capitalizing on this deal (signing stars with all that cap space, DSJ becoming a good player, the draft picks). We'll see though. In the end if Porzingis stays healthy it'll be a good trade for the Mavs regardless of what NY does tbh.
They also offered i think $2mm more per year for Amare than any other team did, it’s not like he chose the Knicks over other teams offering the same contract. Sarvers cheapness is the only reason NY drew any FAs that year.
Theyre just not a desired destination for free agents anymore. Dolan is a show of an owner and they haven’t been relevant since the 90s
140 when you aint trollin' you make great sense.
Agree 100%.
If he stays healthy wgaf ... What NewYork does?
Plus Mavs have shown more ability to build a winner.
This.
and KD is supposed to sign there?
Kyrie?
Mavs adding Hayward, Red , and Dragic next year tbh.
Red would actually be a good get for them, if the price was right
Some guy at work came in and screamed to my group about this trade yesterday. I couldn't care less.
wait so you’re telling me there’s people out there who autisticly screech and interject their feelings/personal lives into other people’s discussions despite nobody giving a ? Good thing we don’t have any posters on this site that do that tbh imho
who cares honestly... this race baiting is ridiculous. i really want to see how both exist on the court together, doncic and kristaps. doncic has impressed me this season more than anyone in the last 20 years tbh.
EasternEuropeDynasty.
Sad how everyone is pressuring Dirk to retire. He clearly wants to play past this season
Why dude is done.
He is one of my favorite opposing players moving to Dallas to see his run in 2011 was a true joy that year along with Steph's unanimous MVP year were the two best seasons of pure shooting I ever saw.
But at MSG for a brief moment was the only time he looked remotely close to That... He and Wade its time. Vinsanity too.
It's Luka's time.
Kristaps should be his wingman, not Dirk who should become a skills development coach.
