So we agree.
Yes.
One of many stupid things she has said.
And?
So we agree.
well we need to have a discussion and compare opinions every time AOC says something.
I'm also supposed to make fun of Don Cheadle's hair now but not Trump's.
Cortez isn't a radical socialist. Your average republican is actually more of a radical socialist. She does need to be more tempered on her immigration ideas. No one wants "open borders" in general. Those who lean left that criticize the wall do so because a in' stupid idea and a waste of money, especially when there isn't a "crisis." The majority of drugs and illegal aliens come via port of entries.

I actually think it wasn't stupid, and I don't particular agree with AOC on most things.
The Berlin wall was, in fact, immigration control. There were two Germany back then, fully recognized as two different sovereign states. The biggest difference, clearly, is that the Berlin wall was built to keep people in, not out.
Nevertheless, it was a shameful construction that had desperate people willing to risk their lives to overcome it. Frankly, it became a symbol of it's own in the Iron Curtain times.
Now, I'm not in favor of illegal immigration or trafficking, I just find it incredibly dumb that simpletons buy that a medieval deterrent like a wall is more effective than the technological sophistication the US has to counter such a problem.
The reality is that it hasn't been solved because there's no political will to solve it. Good steps have been taken to bring it at the lowest it's been in a long time. We also discussed actual effective means to do that, like EVerify, etc, but those options are seemingly never on the table.
And so, we're pursuing the shameful symbolic wall instead, really for no other reason that it was campaign promise. Cost or efficiency be damned. It's stupid.
Well said
Anyone that has ever been to a US/Mexico border town that has any common sense realizes that drones, sensors, and "technology" can't possibly stop people, drugs, guns, etc. from easily flowing back and forth. In Texas, the towns are literally continuous, with houses and buildings running right up to the river on both sides, and by the time the Rio Grande gets to Texas it's not much of a river or a deterrent to crossings. And yeah, I just got back from checking on a big job in Laredo about an hour ago, so I have seen it recently.
I totally agree we don't need barriers in many sections further west because the terrain and lack of population and roads on either side is a significant deterrent, and drones and sensors would work just fine.
lol random dudes yelling at a camera.
Not talking about your beloved Trevor Noah, please stay on topic.
He's not random dudes, Qhris.
Do you even know the difference between singular and plural, Qhris?
There are two random dudes in your tweet.
Trevor Noah is one nonrandom dude.
Get your political talking points from YouTube comedians fellas
Random dudes = people not on your television networks? Who decides who is random and nonrandom Pavlov? Are you claiming to have never seen or heard of the Hodge Twins until today? Why are you so disingenuous Pavlov?
I thought it was pretty funny, and don't use Hodge Twins for political talking points. Since you brought it up though, where do you get your political talking points from Troll Clinton?
I think I've seen them in another one of your posts.
Yes, they are random dudes as far as political commentary is concerned.
You think? Why are you so disingenuous Pavlov?
Yeah, I haven't seen them anywhere else.
You have posted their videos before, have you not?
not even comedians, just two meatheaded re s who look like they could play the mutants in the next Hills Have Eyes movie.
^Nah...they're actually comedians. Stay classy with the body shaming there pal.
More like face shaming tbh. They both look like one side of their face was hit with a hot frying pan at birth.
Politicians, journalists, I like to get my info from people with boots on the ground. Not goofy coons like those twins.
As long as the politicians and journalists aren't "goofy coons". Got it![]()
