Aldridge sucked but truthfully Spurs don’t have a high ceiling with LMA/Demar as their top 2 anyway.

In that game against OKC, Marco couldn't force a foul with the clock in our favor and it led to a turnover and a bucket on the other end. A week later, the same ing thing happened. And now this. That's lack of execution and incompetence on the players but it's also bad coaching. The Suns can execute better in that situation.
    This x1000.

We are supposed to be the most well coached team in the planet,it's coaching 101 to NOT leave the main ball handler alone with nobody around him to make the easy pass when a double team-trap is coming!!!!

They are down 1 and we have the full 24 to end the game! They will trap and try to steal for 5 secs and then they will foul!

What the is going on and we let the ball handler alone to get trapped mauled and lose the ball for the THIRD time this year????

This is unacceptable,i have no idea how the best coaching team in the league is doing these things.

Can't place the blame on derozan. Outside of that turnover he actually played well...our All Star went missing, though.
DeRozan: "I'm gonna drop 50 on them when I play them"

In 2 games total vs. Toronto: 44 points.

DeMar is a ing choker. It's on him. Go ahead, do another 360 degree layup, that won't change that he's not a Championship player.

    This L is on Aldridge.
They were surrounding him, daring the rest of the team to show up.

Because we already know what Derozan is like when it actually matters. But let’s keep putting stock into regular season games instead
So why watch if u feel like that lol

No doubt, but he had opportunities to establish himself. He just didn't seem sharp. Maybe he took extended rest since he didn't have much w/all star weekend.

I watch because I enjoy the young guys like White, Bertans and Poeltl. But unfortunately the Spurs have Demar. I’m just not delusional like some of you who think Demar is suddenly gonna break his choking habits just because he’s here.

If white was able to play down the stretch spurs win. I don't doubt that.

nope, his last shot, a long horrible fade away against two defenders, after dribbling around, and general ball hogging in crunch time. Getting stripped when up 1, when a basket could have won it.

when he starts dribbling, head down, he's 1 one on 5.

Yup. But the experts on here don't think often
You cannot seriously absolve DeRozan for that up, especially when he defers to Bertans on the possession right after. He also commited a costly turnover down the stretch. No excuse for his chokejob for Mr. "I'm gonna drop 50 on Toronto" DeRozan.

I mean I don't doubt he can break those habits. But whatever, he came out and won us games early. We are worse without him this yr

We did not play that well. Raptors did not play that well. We beat them down in SA and probably should've won this one.

We are a different team with White, there is no denying that. If this game had happened before his return, would be easily been a 20 to 30 pt loss

Man,i cannot accept stupidity in these instances.

They are professional athletes, basketball is their life and livelihood.

When you learn the fundamentals of the game you do drills as a toddler on how to pass out of incoming double teams. You do drills on what happens in the clutch when full court press is about to be applied from the other team.

This is a badly trained/coached team. Was Popovich afraid to call TO cause he was afraid of how to inbound the ball??? Cause that's the only reason i can think of and that is on the coaching staff AS WELL!

That win at San Antonio against Load Management doesn't feel as good anymore. Just gave this one away. I would've rather have lost by 40, tbh.

I dont care what he did offensively even though he's getting so slow that is making pretty easy to suffocate him and make him a passer. Defensively is my biggest issue with him because he was non existent most of the game and decided to show up only at end.

Nephew rips the ball from DeRozan and dunks for the win. Sweet revenge.
Yeah sweet revenge. Kawhi should be so upset about demar wanting out of Toronto so bad that it forced the raptors to trade demar sending him to the spurs who were looking to get rid of kawhi. I'm glad Kawhi got his revenge. DeMar ruined both their situations.

Tbh it was a commendable effort. Raptors are just a much better team so it was matter of time before they took the game. We basically saw what we already know though: Derozan is a choker, Pop mails it in, Spurs can't make a shot on last-second plays

This game wasn't on him. Who knows what happens, we miss a FT they hit a 3, etc... Too many mistakes before that

There went Demars only productive game for a while. Get ready again for those 5-21 shooting nights with 6 turnovers with no defense.
