she's gonna run again for sure!
Did you weigh in on it prior to her announcement or did you just hang back like you normally do and only pile on when it's a certain outcome?

You're kidding yourself if you don't think there's a substantial chance she'll run again. The only caveat I'd add is health could rob her of the decision.
You keep using vague terms like "may or may not" (still don't know what the point of that statement is either, since the only two possible outcomes are her either running or not running, you can take literally any hypothetical event in the future no matter how unlikely and make a true statement that it "may or may not" happen) and "significant chance" because you're trying to create an out for yourself if she doesn't run again.

The fact people were still thinking there was a good chance of her running in 2020 right up until she made an official statement is re ed. She wouldn't have been counseling other candidates (Amy Klobuchar most notably) if she was even considering it, and the people who had a great chance in 2016 and didn't run because they were worried about political backlash for getting in Hillary's way (Warren, Biden, Klobuchar) wouldn't be running now.

The "waiting until 2024" theory also makes zero sense since that could only happen if Trump is re-elected in 2020 (no matter how big of a Trumper you are, there's no denying the fact that a president at 40% approval who's party just got clobbered in a midterm election has a chance of defeat). If she still seriously thinks she will be president and wants to run again, she wouldn't be pinning all of her hopes on Trump getting reelected.

There's these things called variables. I wouldn't expect you to understand. You don't understand nuance either.

I understand your stance covered both possibilities and was the complete opposite of bold.

The last time I said she there was a good chance was before the news release that she was counseling Klobuchar. You're making disingenuous arguments to try and start something up.

Forty percent approval? What are you talking about. Not that I put much stock into that stuff, but the headlines I've been seeing is record highs and over 50 percent. And yea, presidents who are good stewards of the economy tend to win re-election. Don't act like this is some sort of long shot. Your entire post is load of dung.

Are the 2024 stories gonna be stupid too?

The 2020 stories were so stupid; it only took Hillary 'til March 5, 2019, pretty much at the deadline to rule out that she wasn't running this time around....

    The deadline?

The first Republican candidate for the 2016 election announced his candidacy in late March, 2015.

ing Christ, with all of the free time you have from not having a social life, you'd think you could take a couple minutes to look up simple facts before spouting bull and embarrassing yourself again and again.

I never said she didn’t want to run. I said she was going to try as hard as she could to convince herself people wanted her to run but in the end there’d be too many voices in her ear telling her not to do it.

her running in 2024, she’d be 77 years old by election night. That’s an even bigger right wing pipe dream.
Although by that point people might be so fed up with Trump that she'd beat the GOP in a landslide. Since she's old she'd get the old vote and since she's more liberal than the GOP she'd get the millennial vote. The GOP would have a majority with white Gen Xers who liked Trump but that isn't enough to win the election.

2016 proved that millennials are fickle voters who will stay home if given the choice between a GOP candidate and a bland center-right Democrat like Hillary.

Voter turnout is the #1 factor in elections right now because of how polarized American politics currently are. Getting 5-10% more turnout than the other party swings elections way more than the "swing vote" does, and Hillary can't consistently turn out the Democratic vote to save her worthless life.

I think he def wins Wisconsin/PA/Michigan, but deja vu of a discussion you and I had recently, the race probably comes down to states like Virginia and Nevada where the Dems rely more heavily on a minority base. Would have been very close imo, hard to say how it turns out.

I think Nevada is a blue state tbh. I don't think you can argue purple anymore. Especially after the unexpected landslide in this past November's NV senate race that was supposed to be a 50/50 bloodbath where the GOP in bent got s acked in a landslide by a relatively unknown female.

I don't see Colorado going Trump over Bernie when Bernie is the one who identifies with the hippie culture and supports federal 420 legalization.

I also don't think Virginia could get the GOP up to 270 if they lose all those states plus the entire North border.

You're inventing a timeline because you're new to politics and it's something you're trying to talk about as a subs ute for having friends. We are still very early in the timeline for announcing candidacy. Clinton is early in announcing she won't run. This is supported by history. You would know this if you did 5 minutes of research.
