In the words of the Dothraki "it is known"...
Utah prizes white players not because I think FO is, racist but because Some of their fans are and it's hard to get black players especially inner city black players to resign or sign there...because of it.
So a bunbch of whiny SJW journost think so...

    them.

I am sure those black players would just love a majority back Utah that is pretty much the same...

It's not like they would want to see the brighter lights...

Playing the race card has never been more powerful.
Of course, because the country has a higher than ever awareness of what it is and broadly we take little enjoyment in it. It's become the chewing tobacco of intolerance.

And I'm curious about you personally FrostKing: are there any cir stances where racism is wrong and should be addressed? And if the fans should be able to say whatever racist things they want to the players, what's wrong with the players talking back? At least be consistent.

If Westbrook's story is actually true (the fan is saying something different) then I don't blame him for his reaction. There's normal talking from fans but at some point you cross the line when you bring up about a player's kid or make racial jokes.
Go out there and kick ass on the court. Jordan killed the Knicks for years, and imagine the he heard courtside from the Drunken NY faithful. Jeter used to get the middle finger from kids in Boston. Just think what the fathers were doing.. You can ban fans, but once they know it is that easy to with a player. The floodgates open.. Fans like that are ing idiots. Let them be idiots and do your job.

If the fan made reference to chains - sure. Or referencing ovens to societies that suffered from the Holocaust.

But the heckling in this case was phobic

Seriously Westbrook is a goddamn idiot. And listening to Shannon Sharpe on undisputed today, he is every bit the ing idiot that Westbrook is. Westbrook is standing on the sidelines, and allows this idiot to get into his head to the point that he makes a ing scene out of the whole incident. And he has idiots like Shannon Sharpe defending him saying, “you have to basically kick somebody’s ass when they disrespect you like that”

Grow the up people. This is not middle school. You are highly paid pro athletes. Do your ing job. Fans are fans.

    "Keeping it real"

The downfall of the black community. We see it all the time in sports. Kareem Hunt. The chick disrespected him.

Sharpe was as close to a performing clown as you can get while he played in the NFL. So this new discovered tough guy act is cute.

Yet another point against today's nba

I remember when stars used to silence road crowds by making soul crushing shots, Westbrick opts for spazzing out like a pre-teen instead

Serious question: could the Jazz have had him removed from the building during the game for making threats?

Remember when it was nearly impossible to interact with athletes? No social media, wouldn't acknowledge hecklers. If they sneezed your direction it was memorable.

" Get On your knees" doesnt have to be homphobic or even racist ...its a sign of dominance for the person requesting the kneeling and a symbol of obedience or defference for the person who bends.

"Kneel before Zod" - General Zod Superman II/Comics

"Bend the knee" - Dany Targaryen GOT

"Fall on your knees" - " O' Holy Night

Silly pop culture examples but none of those are phobic and the last example is not even disrespectful to kneeler its a sign of respect to christ ..that being said ...
If you buy that "get on your knees" in the context of that confontation, ... with the Jazz banning a fan that could afford courtside tickets ...I have some prime real estate to sell you on the San Andreas faultline ...a great deal - future beach front property!!!!

So nothing racist. Sounds like a weak banning. Pathetic to frame that comment as racist. Speaks to the progress society has made and the fact that many are trying to hang on to their victim status of yesteryear.

Utah doesn't deserve a team anyway tbh. Should move the franchise to a better area, Seattle etc.
