Seems like every year the same teams are in the lottery and they never get out. Tanking and drafting in the lottery hasn't been an effective strategy for a lot of teams.
Generational talents like Tim Duncan and David Robinson don't exactly grow on trees. Those teams are called small market teams that elite players don't want to play for. In three years, the Spurs will be in the same boat.

Right? They weren’t that far away from beating the Spurs on their own floor, the best home team in the league. I’m happy with the win too but it doesn’t erase the mistakes PATFO has made. We haven’t even seen this team in the playoffs yet. All they did was win at home where they have an elite record barely beating contenders (like when they nearly blew the Denver game) and beat two lottery teams on the road, wow championship is coming soon.
Save this thread for the playoffs and if the team puts together a solid run.
