Pop over Nurse. But Kawaawaaaa has gears. If he goes ghetto beatdown on us you can only hold onto your chair and see where we crash. It’s a big if but he’s a generational talent right there in our face.
Spurs win. Kawhi will miss Games 2, 4 & 6 cause of Load Management
Seriously though, I think the Raptors are going to win it all. The Warriors defense has slid significantly & Durant is more isolated from his team than LeBron.
Who wins the East will get to the Finals with an empty tank. Toronto would have to go through Nets, then Philly, then Milwakee (Boston).
Lol their not good enough to win it all
Spurs sweep Toronto by an avg. of 20 points a game and Kawhi comes begging in the off season for the Spurs to let him back on the team.
You think the East gauntlet is more of a drain than the West?
In the regular season the East is easier but this years East playoffs are gonna be a dogfight.
The top 4 teams in the East are so evenly matched in talent that we are talking about 2 potential series going to the 7th in the semis and another 7th game in the ECF.
Whoever comes out of the East will bleed to reach the Finals.
I am not so sure the West will be much different. I don't think the Dubs are head-and-shoulders above the next 3-4 teams that you can rule out long, tough series in the West, too. The Dubs seem to think they can just hit a switch and blow out the rest of the league. I don't think it works that way.
I respect your opinion and the standings back you up,but imho only Houston can actually challenge them and that's only if (and this is a big if,like a gigantic IF) Chris Paul manages to stay healthy through the playoffs.
Trying to decide if that's a masterful use of irony or a literary boomerang.
Smfh... This is the kinda talk we used to laugh at from other mediocre teams' forums
Oh yes. Celtics-Indiana first round. Miami-Milwaukee a dogfight. Nets too are fighters.
Second round can be Celtics-Milwaukee and Philly-Toronto, good luck to the winners of one or maybe even two consecutive 7-games series...
I wonder if you know that your avatar is Saturn and not Zeus. Just saying.
*Poseidon holding his trident, not Saturn.Saturn (Cronus) was Zeus father,Poseidon his brother.
Interesting idea. I haven't really considered the matter. Your thesis is that there is more parity, albeit rather mediocre, in the East?

Or are you just bipolar and the same argument you tried to dispute yesterday seems like an interesting idea today?![]()
Yes, according to old Roman gods tradition transferred to the greek one, Saturn generated Zeus. But what I mean is that statue in the picture is of Saturn (and that statue is actually in a city near Rome, Italy, called Saturnia). I admit it is a very unuseful information, no idea why I still remember it from an exam I took to up my average grades in college. Still.
Monty my friend that statue is the Artemision Bronze,it was and still is in the National Archaeological Museum of Athens,Greece.
The statue in the picture is either Zeus or Poseidon according to Archaeologists, but every Greek knows that's Poseidon.
Also,i'm happy you took these kind of courses in college! But i'm Greek and i live about 2 hours from where they pulled that statue out of the sea and half an hour from it's current location.
(Also forgot to add,the the Ancient Roman Civilization didn't transfer anything to the Ancient Greeks,as the Romans developed their civilization about 500 years after the Greeks-History lesson over)

I am actually pretty sure you are talking about a different statue, but I certainly can be mistaken.
About the latter part: I thought it was a given I wasn't talking chronologically, hopefully everybody knows Rome was founded in Homeric times. What I am talking about is when the Greek intellectuals 'took over' Rome as teachers (after losing to roman armies), they very smartly tried to mix the old roman deities (Lares, Penates etc) with he greek ones they believed were the true ones. Today we would call that asslicking the winners. Hence mixing up Saturn (which existed in the Tuscan gods tradition since centuries before, way before Rome was founded in 753 B.C.) with the greek tradition: they took the idea of the spark that generated Zeus and the Saturn deity which manifested itself as flashes during storms in the tuscan/roman tradition, and put them together, to appease the romans.
History lesson over![]()
So you actually meant that the Greek tradition/Religion/Deities transferred to the Roman tradition/Deities after the Romans conquered Greece? And you just mistyped it.Okay we can agree with that.
But you shouldn't be too sure i'm talking about a different statue.I am talking about that statue on JuiceWillSwallow picture.
