Advocates say a proposed end to federal funding for the Special Olympics was merely a small part of an anti-disability budget.
“So many people don’t understand there are so many programs that impact kids with disabilities,”

The Education Department’s proposed budget would eliminate 29 education programs, including
a program that operates after-school programs for low-income kids,
