Obviously the priority is avoiding the Warriors and the Rockets, but between the Nuggets and Trail Blazers, people are sleeping on the latter because of what I said the other day.

They're obviously not in the same class as the '15 Clippers, but the same logic applies. Even without Nurkic and with McCollum possibly not 100%, it feels like they have too much riding on this season to lose to a team as flawed as the Spurs.

Things would have been so easy if the Rockets didn't choke. The Spurs would have just had to win and play the Nuggets.

Now they can conceivably still play the Warriors, Rockets, Blazers or Nuggets. It looks like the most likely is still the Nuggets but damn.

Another thing to add to the equation is if the Blazers lose tonight, the Jazz will go all out to beat the Clippers tomorrow because they could still catch the Blazers. Then there's a very possible scenario where the Spurs choke against the Mavs but get saved from playing the Warriors by the Jazz beating the Clippers
