    Minnesota isn't even 100% trying

They haven't tried all year. Minnesota has some of the saddest-sack players I've ever seen.

So if both POR and DEN wins, HOU gets bounced to 4th seed and we'll get either right?
Portland is down by 20. They don't want this game.

Denver barely beating a Minny team without KAT.....

They're on a b2b as well so I could see them totally gassed in the 2nd half and losing this

Scared of OKC. IIRC, the Thunder swept them in the regular season.

They want to tank to play the Jazz instead.
    Thanks!
Let's see how that plays out.

Nuggets are one of the streakiest teams in the league, they just don't have any reliable offense outside of Jokic(who isn't a great scorer, either)..

It's conceivable to get them in a series where Murray, Barton, Harris, etc don't get hot with their volume shooting..

Putting things in perspective, the Spurs won 48 games this year without their starting PG Dejounte Murray. If he had been healthy, is there any doubt we would've won 50+ games this year?

Somebody remind the dumb ass Nuggets that they lose this game, they still get HOU in the 2nd round, except without homecourt.

That is still the best option for the Spurs. A bracket that features Nuggets, Blazers, Spurs and Thunder is wide open, tbh.
    We could make the WCF.

Too bad it's not happening. F you, Portland.

Portland going with a super-duper-6-man-rotation tank is one of the most disrespectful tank jobs I've ever seen.

Gotta root for the Jazz if only for comedic purposes now.

true plus dantoni would get that elusive playoffs victory against pop most likely, given the relative strength of the two teams...
i really would rather get the nuggs. c'mon denver

We've had a lot of bad firsts this year so that wouldn't surprise me. It'll just continue the trend.

And of course the Clips-Jazz game is only a 4 point game now. We might get the double shaft.

Nuggets announcers seem to think they are trying to win this game.

Either they are sincere or this is just the party line.

It's not politically correct to actually talk about a tank publicly. Frowned upon.

They were quite comfortable talking about Portland "tanking" (they even used the word).

I don't think i like Mills and Forbes on defense against Denver. Denver guys like Barton and Harris etc can drive on and score over them, and definitely backcut them to and back

Against Houston, sure, Paul might cook them, but so much of the time they should be able to hide and stand around while the Rockets just do Harden-ball
