I don't think they'd tank. I can't imagine they'd be so desperate to avoid the Spurs that they'd give up homecourt in the second round to the Rockets.
For drafting purposes. If the Clips win, Spurs and Clips will have the same record and it'll go to a coin flip. The difference between the 18th and 19th pick.

Denver is seriously gonna lose this
I didn't hear that. Damn. You mean during the game, or some talking heads elsewhere? The league office has gotten really nasty about that in the past. They don't have any real power over outside analysts, but anyone associated with the NBA I thought was supposed to steer clear of saying that openly.
Not a lot of enthusiasm from the Denver crowd -- like a mausoleum.
At halftime, the Denver crew said something like "when Portland tanks, they really know how to do it."
The current starting PG >>> over the injured instagram PG, imho.
Denver looks absolutely terrible/gassed. Spurs are gonna end up getting the Rockets IMO.
If the Nugs win. They want SA and not OKC
Were gonna have to beat nuggs/houston anyway
Yes, there is.
We don't know how well Murray would have fit with DeRozan and Aldridge. And we probably don't get this version of White if Murray is available playing starting PG.
Losing Green and even Fathead was more painful overall than losing Dejounte. Think of who had to replace those two and the stop gap solutions earlier in the season.
Maybe they just want the honor of the two seed -- it might mean something to a perennial doormat like Denver.
I would disagree that losing Fathead was more damaging than losing Murray.
Damn Portland wants Utah instead of OKC.
10-0 run for Minny (up by three).
ing Nuggets, giving up a 10-0 run and down by 3 again.
Welp, time to get the Rockets/Spurs thread up and running...
Collectively not individually.
"Three points is a little too close for comfort in a game the Nuggets must win to secure the two seed" says the Nuggets' announcer.
I'm anti Fathead but I remember him being a positive on defense and had the occasional good game on offense. Can't say the same for Cunningham or Pondexter when those two were getting big minutes.
Minny has hit at least five threes in a row . . .
The Nuggets are really going to choke this off aren't they![]()
