Zubac was huge in O/T.
Now get that 18 pick and anything else is just gravy.
Please Jeannie, make my life complete -- hire Phil Jackson to run the Lakers . . .
Zubac was huge in O/T.

Clippers, Spurs and Pacers all tied so they'll do a drawing to select 18, 19 and 20.
Then the team that gets 20th will get 48th in the second round, 19 with get 49 and 18 will get 50.
we couldve had POR instead of DEN at the first round tbh. but still a great bracket for us nonetheless.
Not underestimating the Nuggs but I like our chances
Really? I didn't know they flip them. Makes sense, but I never saw that printed. Well there's something to go into the archives.
Who questioned Denver's master plan? And in their final act, they let the Twolves hold a lead to encourage Portland to win. Well done, Denver. Well done.
1/3, I think, since Pacers are in there too.
my bad, the Pacers/Hawks game and how it ended had me out of a loop. I keep forgetting if the Pacers had one more or one less loss.
Beautiful night of basketball tbh.
True but im not complaining about a higher draft pick and a Nuggets team that looks pretty ty tbh.
Tonight couldn't have gone much better in terms of balancing the Spurs staying in a good spot draft-wise and landing in the easier side of the Western Conference bracket. In fact, it was probably the optimal results (the Thunder losing would have given the Spurs the Blazers [arguably easier than the Nuggets] but then their draft range would have expanded to 18-21).
someone just need to sweep Jokers legs and we're good to go![]()
The Warriors winning would have helped for the draft, I think.
Ah, yeah, that was the one thing that definitely went against the Spurs. A Warriors win would have given the Spurs a coin flip chance at the 28th pick instead of the 29th pick.
It turns out the Paul George 3-pter last night was actually good for the Spurs.
If only this team weren't allergic to road games...
Even though it's still the most ideal bracket, no series will be easy due to how awful they are on the road. They shouldn't be favored over any Western playoff team besides the Clips.
I'm still shocked that it worked
In the final 2 nights, they needed:
- Paul George buzzer beating 3 after being down double-digits all game
- Moe Harkless buzzer beating 3
- Portland coming back from down 28 in the 2nd half while playing a 6-man rotation
- Nuggets erasing a double-digit 4th quarter deficit
How would Denver losing to T-wolves motivate Portland to win?
Would have been nice if Thunder lost tonight, but would get a higher pick.. hmm
I wonder if Denver fans are upset about getting the Spurs instead of OKC, who they swept during the season.
Nah, I'm sure they are fine with getting the second seed and the easiest side of the bracket.
WCF!!!!!![]()
3 is also on the easier side. Perhaps "upset" is too strong, but logically they would prefer to draw OKC.
Their game commentator said it wouldn’t matter. I feel this team has a lot of potential if it plays its best.. the Spurs that is
