    I can imagine Pelinka's reputation will make deals more difficult for the Lakers. The irony is incredible here: The final contract Pelinka got for Kobe was the beginning of this downward spiral, and now he's on the other end of the situation, dealing with a poor team that available free agents probably won't want to join.

    Why are we ignoring the fact that Magic is an idiot though? Aside from all his well do ented terrible basketball takes, it's obvious he's just a dumb person. I don't want a dumb person running my franchise. He's good for being a figurehead, since he garners respect from players because of how good he was on the court but once he starts getting a big head, thinking he's some sort of great basketball mind, wanting a bunch of power letting his dumb ass go is the right move.
