You sure? 29 points on 31 shots and the L?
Didn't say he wasn't chucking. He made some slick passes and fought for some boards, but he built a brick house tonight.

what a terrible shot tbh... I mean, true, it was a tie game, worst case was OT and everybody is going to remember that epic shot from half court, but just terrible shot selection

It was a bad shot only because of distance. Perfect way to run out the clock, though. The crazy thing is, he knew it was going in. He hardly reacted when it went in.

Russ and Playoff Pee were so good for the first 10 minutes of the 4th, yet so terrible in the last 2

If Nurkic is gonna be out a lot of next season I could see the Blazers biting on a swap of LMA for Nurkic.

they’d be a legit contender with Lamarcus and a healthy Nurkic.

Gil also just chucked a bunch of those shots, Curry and Dame hit them at a ridiculous rate.

You don't need to delete that post, dude. You're technically still correct that he's "relentless"...just relentless at being ed in the ass by Lillard.

PG with 36 pts on 70% but Westbrick took 11 more shots

A step back fade away three pointer from 37 feet?

How good can they shoot from there? 30% at best? It's still an absolutely re ed shot when you needed just one point to win the series.

Franchise players get to do that, career bench players stand in the corner with their hands ready.

This is how you smartly play an offensive possession to close a playoffs game, tbh:

Westbrook and George both had five fouls. So OT isn’t a huge loss.

But maybe Dame feels like that was the cleanest look he was going to get, and the refs weren’t going to decide series on a foul.

I think including end-of-quarter chuck shots, Dame is like 30%. Curry I read before is well over 40% so it's not intrinsically a bad shot just because of the distance. Most people shouldn't try that, but some can.

LMA is better now, but he only has a few more good years left. Nurkic has another 10+ years......assuming he stays healthy, which may be in doubt. Nurkic probably has more future value tbh.

I don't know, man. Aldridge doesn't have a lot left on his deal and Nurk is signed to decent money through 2022. Personally I wouldn't be interested in chaining myself to a 300-pounder coming off a horrific broken leg. Especially with Poeltl beginning to put things together.
