3 is also on the easier side. Perhaps "upset" is too strong, but logically they would prefer to draw OKC.
But if they finished 3rd, Houston would have finished 2nd and the bracket wouldn't have been as good. Especially without HCA in the 2nd round.

Hits a little close to home:

I got the team i'm rooting for in the East.

But whoever made this,no,categorically refusing to go watch Space Jam 2 doesn't mean you're not a Spurs fan damn it.

Edit: Oh it's for Bandwagoners.Okay, that makes sense.

    That flowchart is amazing.

And a salute to this thread. While technically no longer necessary, it was still my favorite ongoing thread over these last several weeks. I'll miss it.

It'd almost be too perfect of a final chapter tbh...
    via derozan turnover
With the Spurs having a shot to win the game at the buzzer but Patty inexplicably dribbles out the clock...
Basketball gods with the last laugh. I made this joke a couple weeks ago about Patty Mills' lack of time management skills being a fitting final chapter for the 2019 Spurs ... and here we are.

Mind boggling how hes getting minutes cause of experience. When he plays he looks like he has the least experience of all , players

Pattys poor clock managment is mostly due to his limited skillsets.

That's not an excuse. You don't need any sort of skills to manage a clock. You just need to know basic basketball strategy. Your average season ticket holder would have known to foul in that situation, tbh.

Patty just never really had point guard responsibilities prior to this season. He got to hide between two Hall of Famers for the last eight years or whatever it's been.

Patty lacks situational awareness. He is oblivious.

That was also illustrated earlier in the season when Patty was shooting free throws. Everybody knows about the free throw ritual, right? After you shoot the first of two free throws, whether hit or miss, you touch hands with all your teammates. All of the players on all of the teams do this. It's a standard ritual of the game.

Patty shot the first of two free throws. He touched hands with his teammates in front of him, the ones he could see stepping toward him with their hands out. But Patty didn't turn around. One of the players, it seems either Forbes or DDR, DDR I think, had walked forward from the arc with his hand out, but Patty didn't turn around and touch hands with him. Patty screwed up the free throw ritual.

How many players in the NBA are so mentally out of it that they screw up the free throw ritual?

    One.
