I don't think he's a super athlete, I also think comping him to Boban is random and not a good comp.
We're talking relative to Goga, who you apparently think is a super athlete.
I don't think he's a super athlete, I also think comping him to Boban is random and not a good comp.
Then you just don't understand how basic comparisons work.
What makes you think Goga is more athletic than Boban?
Why comp him to Boban at all? I never said he was more athletic than Boban or even compared him to Boban-that is something that you did. I think they play very differently.
They're both lumbering Euro bigs. I adequately differentiated from there. Stop being a snowflake.
At least with CJ, he is an elite shooter. Really not impressed with Williams or Clarke- who is super athletic but has several red flags.
I am being a snowflake because you made a bad comp? Cool story bro.
I made a good comparison that got your panties in a ruffle, snowflake. Yea, it was a cool story, bro.![]()
Any of these guys have god-damn Kawhi potential? Clarke maybe?
Definitely gonna use this next chance I get; call people a snowflake if I say something stupid![]()
That shouldn't take long.
Honestly, that's a nice mix of possible 19 picks. Spurs are going to get lucky for sure!!
Why the Goga - Boban comp is terrible? Because cd021 is right, they are very different players. For example, over 7 Euro seasons, Boban went 0/1 on 3's over 1587 minutes.

In contrast Goga took 5/16 3's in 307 minutes.

Goga and Boban do not play the same...
Yeah I thought that comparison was strange too
There's some bust in there, tbh. There should be something available, but they'll have to get the pick right.
You think you know what you're talking about, but you don't. Euro league is not NBA. They didn't change the rules to make it a 3 fest. Although they do have some stretch 4's doing stuff, the 5's typically clog the paint. Goga apparently ain't all that bad a shooter if he did got 5-16 from threes; but Boban didn't shoot threes cos he stayed true to his role. If you're really adept at twitter, you can find tweets of him nailing one corner three after another in warm-ups and things of that nature. He also shot 80 FT% or better in both seasons with Detroit. The dude has a good stroke.
I do know what I am talking about. The argument is not that Boban can't shoot, you're right, he has good touch. The issue is how Goga and Boban play. Boban plays purely inside, old school 5. Goga is much more modern; his game is almost Aldrige-esque - A mix of longer jump shots, posting up, and even occasionally attacking off the dribble. Goga is also much more comfortable defending on the perimeter after a pick and roll.
Hawks traded for the 17th pick. They hoping to sneak in Rui, tbh.

Spurs have to move to 16 or better for a chance at Rui. No indication this will happen; but the Spurs usually play their cards to the chest.
Rui among 20 in the green room.
